Since it's detached and located behind the main house, the back yard area is shared, but you still have the ability to maintain your privacy. Access to the guesthouse is easy and located right off Rosewood Drive. It has a let of stairs leading up that I had asked about beforehand but never heard back. It feels like a tree house, with lots of windows and trees. Very comfortable bed although I would have preferred a king. Suggestions for owner: coffee mugs - there was one huge one and then 4 tiny ones. Provide a few 12 to 16 oz. The water pressure was pretty bad and it was hard to figure our the hot water in the shower. I could not see the mirror over the bathroom sink (it was too high) and there is not another mirror in the whole place. The charging ports in the lamps was a great idea.
