Quiet and Cozy Seaside Cottage with Amazing Sunsets

Quiet and Cozy Seaside Cottage with Amazing Sunsets

10/10 Excellent
"This was our second year staying at this property and, once again, it was perfect for our needs. More people could have comfortably stayed here, but my daughter and I found the space to be just right for the two of us. The view from the rear of the house is gorgeous; we saw deer almost every night; the nighttime sky sparkles with stars. There are plenty of nearby beaches to comb and trails to hike. Inside the very clean and well supplied house, we could choose to play games, read or watch tv if the weather wasn’t cooperating or if we just wanted to be lazy. There is an easy to use grill on the deck, and a new-this-year easy to use stove in the kitchen. The host is easy to communicate with and responds quickly. I would highly recommend this property but selfishly hope no one rents it so I can have it whenever I want!"

Lobster Cottage on the Harbor W/Lighthouse and Waterviews.

Lobster Cottage on the Harbor W/Lighthouse and Waterviews.

10/10 Excellent
"View from the home is incredible. A scenic overlook is literally at the end of your driveway. House was perfect for 6 of us and a dog. The house is not fenced in but a 30 foot leash tied to the front porch worked perfectly. This side of Acadia is perfect...beautiful views (schoodic point my favorite), various level hiking trails all without the commercialization in Bar Harbor. You still are a scenic drive away from Bar Harbor (a little over and hour) and you can experience that side too or take a ferry (we didn't but price was reasonable) and return to a peaceful home. Winery, nature trails, artisan places, and many restaurants with great food! People are super friendly everywhere we went. Host communication was wonderful and responses come almost immediately. Only thing to consider is various items kitchen needs. We cooked a lot and had to be a bit creative with utensil needs, but if you absolutely need something, check before you go or bring it. Highly recommended home away from home!"

Rocky Shore Cabin - Flanders Pond

Rocky Shore Cabin - Flanders Pond

10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakeside cabin. The peaceful setting and gorgeous views made it such a relaxing getaway. We loved starting our mornings with coffee on the deck overlooking the water and spending time in the hammock by the lake. The thoughtful touches made our stay feel especially welcoming. The fresh flowers in vases throughout the cabin were such a lovely touch, and the blueberry muffins waiting for us when we arrived were a wonderful surprise. The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and a perfect place to slow down and enjoy the beauty of Maine. Our host, Ainsley, was very responsive and accommodating, and we truly appreciated her hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful lakeside retreat in beautiful Maine!"
