"The property is a set of old Maine homes on the ocean utilized as a Bed and Breakfast. The daily breakfast was fresh made and very good. There was one menu for each morning but they did ask if there were any allergies, food preferences or dietary restrictions and made special meals in those cases. The ocean view was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings. The beds were fine but the room needs repair. Peeling wallpaper, window shades that are deteriorating, dust/dirt on the top of curtains and the shower head is worn out (an easy, inexpensive fix). Also BE AWARE that there are no TV's on the property and while I was sent a code for wifi, it did not reach to the house that we stayed in. I also recommend that you check-in during daylight. The owners did have specific instructions as to the house we should go to but it would've been easier to find the correct place during daylight. A unique stay geared towards those that are more mobile but we enjoyed the Acadia National Park and surrounding area."

"My mom, our dog, and I had a wonderful stay at the Rocky Shore Cabin. It is quiet, peaceful, clean, cozy, and has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay on a beautiful pond. Off the beaten path but close enough to town that we could really enjoy the best of both worlds. We ran around seeing the sights of Maine during the day and then came home to grill on the deck and enjoy the cabin views from the big windows at the dinner table at night. Ainsley is a wonderful and thoughtful host leaving us blueberry muffins on the table upon arrival and slippers to keep us warm and comfortable in the cool fall weather. She is very responsive and communicates easily and well, making sure we got in okay and had everything we needed. We would love to come back to Rocky Shore Cabin again someday - we highly recommend it!"

"Very quaint, comfortable cabin. We absolutely loved everything about it. We saw the loons our first day and watched an eagle catch a fish then share it with his mate. Beautiful sunsets and truly amazing setting inside and out. Hosts were responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend."

"Very convenient to shopping and gas stations, although there isn't a lot to choose from for shopping being a quaint, adorable town with friendly, helpful natives. Very typical of an older motel but super nice people running it. On 9.26.26 the front section was being repaired but this did not cause any noise or inconvenience. It's a little thing but an ironing board and iron would have been appreciated. I would definitely book there again. Super clean!!"

"Property was very clean, host responded quickly to our questions. Cottage was lacking in some basic items if you plan to prepare meals. Would suggest the following items be added to the kitchen, pizza pan, cookie sheet And another non stick skillet. Also one burner on the range didn’t work and downstairs bathroom door needs some adjustment so you aren’t locked in as I was. Overall a good visit, but with some updates as listed above it would be great!!"
