I loved the old fashioned feel of the property. It was very cute and comfortable. The breakfast was great. The bar and music on multiple nights was excellent. it is a nice relaxed feel that we really enjoyed and will stay there again.

The best thing in that place was the overall atmosphere and the welcome and friendly feelling that you sensed in the place. We have been in better rooms, but never felt so valuable for the people running the business. They really seemed to appriciate us as customers and as human beings. The best thing was the live music in the reception-breakfast-lounge area!!!! Fantastic... And one more thing we loved were the bicycles and the board games! Well done and keep up the good work!

Very small for a 2 bedroom. Just due to being old, I’m guessing. Kitchen area was functional. Would be better in the summer when events are happening. Cozy lounge area. Limited breakfast but enough to get you going. Didn’t see the live music or partake in Happy Hour, so I can’t comment on that, but I’m sure it’s fun.

For my first time here coming from San Antonio it was amazing . It was very cozy and made me feel Like I was at home . Love the outside view of the mountains . Staff was friendly and everything was close by . Thank you for a rememberable stay .

Room was clean but dated. Cheap pallet wood decor. No sink in the bathroom to brush teeth, had to go into living room and use kitchenette sink. One staff member was rude, The other was very nice.

Loved the location, close to places of interest, and easy access to bike trail. Loved that they have bikes and helmets for use and all the bike theme decor. We visited mid-March before snow storm, there wasnt much to do in the evenings on site, but we improvised and drove into town. Staff was welcoming and the complimentary waffle bar and coffee were a great start for the day. Will definitely visit again.

Pros: Bed was comfortable. No carpet, floor was lament. Two heaters in room nice. Cons: Bathroom was disgusting - feels like the original toilet, sink, bathtub, and tiles from 40 years ago. Several of the tiles had no more grout. Tub had rust and large chips. Toilet seat was very old fashioned small seat. Towels were old. This felt like a 1 star motel that is in dire need of room renovations. Big lunch bag let down from pictures on web-site.

What a great find! Kids loved the bunk beds, bikes and waffles. Close to so many great touristy things!! Staff is very nice. If we ever visit the area again, we would definitely stay there again.

This policy is in strict adherence to our Colorado liquor license, which mandates that alcohol purchased off-site can only be consumed within the privacy of your guest room. We strive to ensure all our guests can enjoy their stay while we comply with state regulations, and we apologize if this caused any inconvenience during your stay.We also regret to hear about the drainage issues you experienced. Please rest assured that we take such matters seriously, and our maintenance team has been notified to address and resolve this issue promptly to prevent any future discomfort to our guests. We are happy to address plumbing concerns while you are here- just give us a quick call and we will make it right! We understand how important a great view can be to the overall enjoyment of staying on the West side of Colorado Springs. While we have a limited amount of rooms with different views, availability can vary, and we encourage guests to let us know if they have any specific requests. The Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort was a pleasant surprise. The place had an old-West look (the lodge is over 100 years old after all) but the rooms were nicely renovated. The main lodge was the most comfortable gathering place we have found in a resort. And the weekend music performances were very enjoyable.

Very sweet staff - there was a little concert/festival on the grounds during our stay and it was fun. Food truck, band, drinks, and other vendors. Its definitely older but renovated well, a cute unique stay!

A home away from home
Arrived at the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort for just a one-night stay. The plan was to take the tram up to Pike's Peak the next day before heading on to Denver. It was perfect to check-in quickly and then enjoy the Happy Hour at The Watering Hole bar on premise. They offer several local craft beers and mix some wonderful cocktails. As we were tired, we ended up just staying put as the local musicians were performing at open mic. The bartender suggested a pizza spot close by (Slice 420) to pick up a pie and bring back to the bar. The vibe was welcoming, friendly locals, good music and helpful advice. Definitely will return.

We always recommend that our out-of-town guests stay here! For years we have been coming to Buffalo Lodge to enjoy the live music with friends and family and we ALWAYS have a wonderful time. Our children begged to stay here so we decided to take them on a staycation and they can't stop talking about how much fun they had riding bikes around the property, singing karaoke, and drinking all the hot chocolates they could put down. The crew at Buffalo Lodge is always welcoming and treat you like family. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy, and the location is perfect for everything Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs have to offer. There is no better place to stay in the area!

This place is charming and really has that “Colorado comfy & casual” atmosphere. Great bike theme and draws many families and groups. Music/bar was great and food truck a nice addition. My only slight complaint is the thin walls. At time felt like my neighbors were sitting with me. Would be wise to change the room configuration so headboards aren’t on the same walls. 😉 but don’t let that stop you from stayin!!! It’s a charming and really cute place. Very enjoyable and that casual , everyone’s family sort of feel. It’s GREAT for that. And decor is so cute. It gets a 5 ⭐️from me overall!!

A must stay!
Such a cute, cozy place! The staff went above and beyond in making me feel welcome, everyone was so friendly, the location was perfect, they have a bar and live music on the weekends and I felt one hundred percent safe here as a solo female traveler. Will definitely stay again on my next trip to COS.

My family and I had an amazing stay. I was a little leery due to having a 7 and 5yr old knowing there’s live music on the weekends but we didn’t hear beep. The staff were all welcoming. Our cottage was so cute and our kids loved the bunk beds. The beds were nice and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the bike theme, added so much character. The breakfast was also really good with lots of options. The waffles were amazing. One good thing to know that we didn’t see in reviews prior is that the property has a different food truck each day.

The staff was friendly, and the room was clean. It's an older motel so some things like older plumbing and room temp was expected. Being a cyclist, it was exciting to find this hotel for future trips.

Lovely Staycation
Had the best time for a staycation in COS. Spacious rooms with all you could ask for and a little bit of funk. Music and easy access to Old CO City. Thanks for having us!
