Having stayed here on a few occasions over a number of years and loved this property, this stay was disappointing. Standards have dropped and sad to say that I won't choose this property again. Whilst still 'ok' it is not what it once was for me, I can pay half the price and be more satisfied elsewhere. They have closed the Papparazzi restaurant that was always excellent and the bar / lobby food option now is extremely poor, and that is a kind opinion. The only thing I ate was a burger and being honest that was appalling quality, tasteless and under cooked. The last time I tasted something so poor was on Ryanair in 2011, when I last 'endured' a flight with them. I was too tired, hungry and busy to really complain properly about the burger, plus getting attention of the bar staff would have been a mission. I remember an f&b manager Sebastian whom has left, a big loss to the property. Bar service is slow and now a distant memory from how it once was. Collecting baggage this afternoon November 7th took 20-25 minutes as only one member off staff was visible on front desk in this period and I was only able to get my left luggage as another member of the team appeared. The hotel lifts (elevators) have always been horrifically slow, same today. Also the minibar and snacks have been removed from the rooms, something I always use, now gone. I could have paid €100 euro less per night elsewhere, had I known the changes in this property. Apparently it has had a recent refurbishment?????
