Hotel met all my needs, free shuttle to Metro every 30 minutes with a short notice. Breakfast more than adequate for room price paid. IHOP and grocery store a few steps away, a plus. Older hotel, but was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was eggs, sausage, hash browns, toast, cereal, milk, juice, and coffee served with china and stainless forks, kinda nice. Area a little rough, just stay within walking distance of hotel and your ok. Easy commute to DC by Metro a huge plus!!!
Overall, pretty nice hotel; it was in the center between where my boyfriend and I wanted to go. The vending machine on our floor and the floor below were out of water and Sprite, at least our first night. The tub didn't seem very clean when we first got there. The room temp was hard to manage; the first night it took forever to warm up, then was extremely hot. Trying to find a manageable temp, that would blow out warm air proved a little difficult (i.e. 75 was cold air, despite that we had the heat on). The TV did not work well with an HDMI cord. With that being said, the check in/out process was both easy and quick. The hotel staff seemed pretty nice. The king size bed was extremely nice. Overall it was a nice experience.
All the staff was extremely polite and consistently asked if there was anything more they can do for us. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The convenience of having the shuttle to bring us to the metro was fantastic. Would especially Recommend to anyone who is getting away for a weekend to catch a Redskins game in DC!
This hotel is OK, although it isn't a perfect place to sleep in the morning. As of Jan 2016 there is some minor construction work still going on at a nearby building on the south side of the hotel, complete with the sound of trucks backing up in the morning, but I couldn't hear it on the north side.
Great king room in building housing the restaurant and fitness center. Clean and cozy; great fitness facility and nice to be able to get a cappuccino and a good breakfast at your hotel.overall a very positive experience
As its name suggests, College Park is a college town. Many locals are affiliated with the University of Maryland, a colonial, red-brick campus set amid 1,250 acres of rolling greenery. Nearby, the College Park Aviation Museum operates on the grounds where Wilbur Wright taught military aviation. The National Archives’ local research facility contains Richard Nixon’s presidential materials.
