So relaxing
Gite du Calme is a lovely house in a wonderful setting, and our host Julia was so helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Gire du Calme for a quiet relaxing stay.

Gite de Calme- is just that Calm
Gite de Calme aptly named it is just that, peaceful,location, very warm welcome set in Charente countryside, easy access for Cognac, Saints Comfortable spacious gite, well equpped Wifi was a bit hit and miss

A little gem
This is a fantastic place to stay! We stayed for 3 nights with our 2 year old son and 2 dogs and could not have been made to feel more welcome. The room was lovely with all sorts of toys for our little one to play with and tea/coffee for us. Breakfast was included and lovely. The location is peaceful and yet within easy reach of cognac. We would definitely return and would highly recommend to anyone!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE
You will love this Gite!. Our room was at the to of the stairs, it was charming and comfortable with a large private bathroom. The stairs are steep and can be challenging, but worth three climb. Julia is an excellent hostess. She made us feel welcome and at home. Her place has a good vibe and it is so nice to wake up in the morning in a mix of forest and grape vines (Cognac about 15 kilometers away). Our breakfast was a mix of breakfast trifle (a dish from Julia's British roots), hearty homemade bread and homemade jams from her fruit trees, delicious yogurts and coffee and tea. I'm coming back Julia and Daisy! XO Sandra and Doran
