Arrived for late check in, got into cabin and it smelt stale, sheets were stained, lounge was covered in black marks, window curtains for mouldy, there was a booger on night stand next to bed. We left 3 hours later and continued trip. Absolutely appalled and never will stay again.

If your cabin was that bad why didn't you ring the front office or the after hours number. We would have come and verified your complaint.

Everything there was very old. The cabin was very smelly after some cleaning chemicals. The bed linen were dirty. The TV set was so high that you could not watch it. We will never come to you again.

thats fine what you say Victor, we do not put dirty linen in cabin and not way would we let a customer in if the cabin was dirty. Yes they are old. such a shame, we have finish just about finish our refurbishment of all those cabins, new lounge, new table and chairs, new curtains, flooring changed, we are so sorry that we couldnt put you in one of them. I could say next time but your not coming back oh well. Have a Nice DAY

Easy to get to and easy to check in - even after office hours. As an adult, it was difficult to get into the top bunk without anything to hold onto on the left side. Very clean and tidy cabin. Would stay again.

Great friendly (and pet-friendly) service, basic comfortable and spacious cabin. Driveways, drainage might not be ideal for rainy weather. We were lucky and missed the rain during our stay. Highway location is a bit noisy and can be difficult to drive out of. Not super close to restaurants etc.

This is the 2nd time we had stayed at banana coast caravan park, the first time was terrific, this time though the cabin was small, smelly and unfortunately one to the beds was like sleeping on concrete, we ended up leaving earlier than we had planned. Vicki in the office though was a pleasure to deal with, unfortunately it is the cabin that let our holiday down.

Toilet needs uplift, and using blue colours in towels seems they try to hide the dirty. Room needs better lighting. Apart from that, good sleeping.

Great location in Coffs, well priced, clean, but there were a few very noisy people in other cabins at all hours of the night, including cars skidding and screeching inside the park.

Clean, new stove, good water pressure in shower, clean fridge, clean kitchen in general. Furniture dated, towels smelly. No insects in the cabin. We stayed for a week. We cleaned the shower, wipoed down the table and chairs. Used pur own linen. The main things were clean and functionable : kitchen and bathroom

We left and asked for our money back( still waiting for our refund) this place was a disgrace it was dirty we had bugs biting us inside the cabin the smell was off would not recommend

Once again we apologise for your stay not being as pleasant as it should have been been. We do have a pest control program in place but due to the excessive rain we have had, the sand flies and midges can be a problem to all.

The younger male "manager" likes to drive the park in his golf cart and gawk at holiday goers. Kids cannot make a sound or play around the pool without being told off. Cabin had a extremely uncomfortable patio furniture as the main lounge chair. Cabin was not clean, no toilet paper and dirty utensils. No its not expensive, but it's still a very poorly run business.

Next to the highway, too noisy. You won't be able to sleep. The cabins need renovation, they are very old now, old towels too. I will say, the staff is very friendly but not a reason to return.

Perfectly acceptable place to stop overnight on our road trip. Clean and comfortable, though nothing fancy or modern. Beds, bathroom, kettle... all we need. Travelers with kids (9 - 17 years). Didn’t use playground or bbq, but I saw they are there.

Cheap so it was worth it to fill in a night. Stayed as a family but couldn’t use the trundle provided as it was dirty, no sheets on it and had old chips on it. Bathroom and kitchen were good.

Noise from the traffic is noticeable and the wifi was not great but overall it was ok for the price. Will probably consider staying again in the future.

unfortunately the traffic noise is noticeable but we can not do anything about that. we are in the process of getting new equipment from a new company

Very poorly maintained cabin. Bed was uncomfortable, untenails weren’t properly cleaned. For money charged, it wasn’t worth it.

Felt bed springs while trying to sleep. Bought food to put in oven but oven didn't work. Bathroom vanity cupboard was basically falling apart an I hurt my arm on the sharp edge. Heard trucks on highway all night so don't expect a quiet experience. Kitchen tap squirted water in all directions. Definitely not even a 2 star rating for cabin #4.

We are sorry you hurt your arm Unfortunately we are on the highway and if you are not use to highway noise it can get a bit noisy. the kitchen tap will be fixed as well. we are sorry your stay with us was not happy

The Cabin was clean and had all u needed for cooking. WELL PRICED. Hard to do Uturns in thebays,across 3 lanes of traffic to go back into Coffs Shops,when they approach at 80klm,s.

What I like is, convenient to the beach and shops. I wasn't happy with the condition of the cabin, poor quality furnitures, Need an update on the couch 🛋, we needed to use a quilt to be able to use it.

The property is generally clean. Wifi been out since the first day(Mon) we checked in, and still not available on our check out(Fri)

the cabin we stayed in number 90 had roaches in the cupboards, there was ants in the shower, we had no water for 1 day couldnt even flush our toilet. staff was very friendly and apologetic but not worth the money we spent,

Good morning did you advise the office of the roaches. It is time for our spray program to start for the year but we can not get into them. thank you for letting us know and we where sorry about the water but when the pump died we had issues

The beds are too old. Also the frying pan is too old, you can barely even cook. The fridge is not cold enough & very old. BBQ area is very dirty.

Dated cabins with little to cater for furbabies
We selected this place to stay so we could accommodate our two small dogs to stay with us while on holidays. The owners responded quickly to online enquiries which was a positive start. This property is listed as dog friendly, but there really isnt much here to actually cater for your furbaby. Cabins are very small, even for us humans to stay in and very dated with peeling cupboard doors, rusted metal furniture, old-looking linen, cracks in the shower floor and broken shower screen, to name a few minor issues in our cabin alone. There wasnt really anywhere suitable to take your dogs for toilet trips. There was one of two small bbq area nearby our cabin but it had a camper setup there with a tent most of the nights which distracted our dogs easily. Cabins are also quite close together and our two dogs were unfortunately anxious in a new location so barked whenever they heard doors of vehicles or cabins nearby slamming shut. The noise of the highway can also easily be heard, but that honestly didnt bother us. The short bed length was more of an issue, but ofcourse small cabins dont help that. The complex was suppose to have free wifi, but on the cabin info sheet it said only 1GB of wifi was free and charged thereafter. The wifi dropped out on day 2 (after minimal usage) and we couldnt log back in the rest of our stay. We didnt bother to enquire about it but were a little bummed to not easily logon on pre-plan our days outings.
Some of the cabins which appeared to be mostly permanent residents at the complex.
Old dated appliances, broken kick at the bottom of this one. Thankfully it still worked.
Long dark hair on the floor in one of the bedrooms. We all have light brown / blonde, short hair, definately not ours.
