Great, quiet location; walk to great river fishing
We used it as a base for Yellowstone. Coming from the East side is longer than the Western entrance, but oh so beautiful. Also, we saw lots of animals on our way to the park, including 3 grizzly bears by the river, nearer to the entrance. The house is very nice, with a working kitchen and a large dining table. The three bedrooms were perfect for our group and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house. We highly recommend this location and would certainly stay again. There is a double oven and a side-by-side refrigerator and a great grill in the back. You can't go wrong here. Plenty of parking in the front, too. Very quiet day and night. Caught five rainbow trout on worms at the public access point. Go fishing on the Shoshone! We released, so go get some great fish - 16 inches or so. Saw old bear prints, a couple of elk, and a bald eagle flew over. Can't miss this spot!
