Room was fine, clean, beds a little hard, but overall good.
The place is under renovation, and if you check prior reviews, seems to have been for quite a while. I booked assuming they were complete, but that is not the case. You can't drive all the way around because the construction has one side closed off.
They have a substantial standing water problem on the walkways in front of the rooms and stairwells, as well as the parking lot. A normal afternoon shower left me picking in and around puddles to get between my room and vehicle.
The hotel is right on US 1 and 528 the hotel was very good for the night before our cruise the port is about ten minutes from the hotel there was a shuttle service for $5 per person round trip it was great we parked the car at the hotel for free right in front of the office the hotel staff were very friendly and the breakfast was actually very good not your regular continental breakfast if you are going on a cruise I would highly recommend this hotel
The Parrish Grove Inn has been the best experience of this year for us. We had never stayed at a true bed and breakfast before so we weren't exactly sure what to expect. What we experienced will be with us for a long, long time. We were greeted by the incredibly personable innkeeper, Ray on the lovely wrap around porch that sits in front of this magnificent house. Walking inside we were pleasantly assaulted with gorgeous, luscious decor that suits the house to a T. We checked in and went up to our room which spans the entire back of the house on the second floor. We quickly decided that we wished we had not made plans to go out that night. We wished we could simply sit downstairs drinking wine and beer and chatting with everyone. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I truly enjoyed this place so much that we are trying to figure out an excuse to go back ASAP! The brunch on Sunday morning was a labor of love and the mango mimosas were scrumptious! I cannot say enough good things about staying here. You really need to check it out yourself. Gail and Ray both went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home and we couldn't have been happier!!
