Had paid extra for a junior suite with a balcony. On arrival we were given the most basic room the hotel offers. After a long time of showing paperwork, descriptions of the rooms on both Expedia and the hotels own website I was finally provided with the room I had actually paid for. The hotel tried very hard to say we had paid nothing extra, Expedia was wrong etc..it wasted a lot of time and wasn’t a great start. The room was fine, a little run down in places and could be cleaned a lot more thoroughly. There was a lack of hand towels, flannels or shower gel and no robes as described in the room description. The breakfast is very good even for vegetarians. I would avoid eating in any of the restaurants, very overpriced and low standard of food. Went to the pizza restaurant one night and I wasn’t allowed to change one of the toppings which suggests they are not made to order, the pasta was swimming in oil. Much better options around the hotel for considerably less money.
The hotel is in a good location.

This is my 3rd time staying at the hotel. Its ina good location. Plenty of options to eat at the Union Market. The staff are super nice and nearly all speak english.
