Excellent hotel for around 3k
Excellent hotel in an excellent location too (My business was in Willington Island and this location was the best to access business and also for evening shopping). Hotel was very hygiene. Food was OK. My only and minor grouse was that the pillow was bit too thick... I could not get used to such a think pillow..

Great hotel in quiet location.
Love this hotel located next to shipyard. Excellent service, very comfortable and spacious room, courteous staff, rooftop restaurant with lovely pool. This is my second stay and the hotel has been upgraded to meet modern standards. I will come again. Thank you , Mercy, for making my arrival into Cochin an easy transition.

Not so Luxury Business Hotel
Checkin was easy and quick. Staff was numerous and helpful enough. This hotel is a 3 star hotel. One elevator was not working, sheets had holes in them, got bitten a few times during the night by mosquitos/spiders? Room has no clock/alarm. The fact that this hotel calls themselves a luxury business hotel is kind of ridiculous. There was no free WiFi in rooms (Surcharge 500 INR per day) an none in public areas. his was very inconvenient for us as we needed to check emails, maps and schedules of train/bus. The description on Expedia is accurate, but the hotel should rethink about offering free WiFi at least in the general areas. Breakfast was included, very nice selection and good food.

Very comfortable.
This is a good hotel with great restaurant, clean and well kept, only drawback is has terrible humming sound I am the room, I don't know if it's the gen set or anything else, and secondly there are many restricted to photography areas as it is next to the cochin port... It feels little uncomfortable as there are boards of the notice every 10 feet, otherwise it's good.

A perfect hotel, great service in a good location
We stayed at the Mercy on two separate occasions and both times were 100% satisfied. We were on holiday but I travel for business a lot so am used to a high standard which the Mercy met. Staff were very helpful, the roof bar and pool was nice, breakfast was decent and rooms were 100% spot on, And from outside you can jump in to an autorickshaw to all the best places in Ernakulum for between Rs 30 and Rs 50.

Good city hotel
We booked this hotel as our arrival destination before we embarked on a 3 week tour of Kerala and stayed for 4 nights. It's located adjacent to the shipyard but this doesn't affect your experience at all, as it's set well back from the busy MG road so limited traffic noise. They are really trying to impress other travellers apart from their main business use. A good location for the ferry terminal serving the other islands - about 10 mins in a rickshaw - which is much more convenient than other larger hotels that you will see on this website.

I stayed in the Mercy Hotel for 2 nights while visiting Kochi and overall it was a good experience and was worth the money paid. The room I got overlooked the shipyard which to me was fascinating but may not be to everyones taste. It was clean, the bathroom was good and the staff were very helpful. The rooftop pool was also a bonus. As a cheaper alternative to the expensive hotels in Old Kochi, I would certainly recommend this hotel as it is only a short distance from the main ferry terminal.

As I wasa travelling on my own, I found the Mercyto be ideal. It is safe, clean,good retaurant androom service;with a very helpful front desk.They rang mewhen I left my credit card inthe hotel after ceckout. It was disappointing that the pool was closed for maintenance as this was one of the main reasons for booking

The room which I occupied was large,had a dinning table and four chairs(unnecessary furniture). Could have provided a kettle with some pouches of Tea/Coffee as the room service in the morning begins at 0700hrs. The pot coffee served in the room was cold and weird taste. I found the location good as it is very close to Cochin Shipyard where I have to visit. May not stay there the next time. The lunch buffet was OK for my taste but may not be liked by Europeans, North Indian and East, NE Indians.

This hotel was clean, comfortable, and modern, including most welcome air conditioning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a few requests -- such as for brighter lighting at the bedside so that I could read, and extra pillows -- and all were efficiently carried out, with the staff at the desk later following up to ask if all was to my satisfaction. The hotel is in on MG Road, which is an Indian shopping district. "Taxis" (Rickshaws) are abundantly available to take you up and down the road, usually for much less than a US dollar per ride, so getting around is easy. Take a taxi / rickshaw to the ferry that will take you over to Fort Cochin -- the very pretty and historic area of Cochin -- the ferry ride is an enjoyable 15 minutes and costs only 3 rupees, like US 7 cents!!! The restaurant in the hotel accommodated my special requests. I would stay here again.
