Built in the 1870s as ‘The Fire Brigade Hotel’ to serve miners, it fell into disrepair and remained vacant since the 1970s. In late 2021, father & son Shaun and Ethan began extensive restoration works, completing it in early 2025\. Now ready to be enjoyed once more, we have hand crafted your stay to the finest detail. Cozy, charming, and perfectly located, The Brigade promises a memorable trip. Located on the iconic Fraser St in Clunes, enjoy the peaceful town right outside the front doors. The 12-seat Jimmy Possum dining table offers a perfect setting for gathering with friends and family, creating an inviting atmosphere for shared meals and conversations.
