They had a great lobby with a free pool table and video games. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool was well maintained.

The only issue was the sliding door to the toilet/ shower area would not close! There was an eight inch gap no matter what we tried. But it looks like they are updating the whole place. Staff were so friendly and welcoming!

The receptionist who greeted us was nothing short of amazing. She was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. The bathroom door was stuck and it took both of us to open it, there was no remote in the room and the phone didn’t work, it did however make a loud siren noise for our first hour there. I had to use my cell to call the front desk. A guy answered and said he could bring me a remote but didn’t know what to tell me about the phone. We unplugged it and the noise stopped but there was no phone for the duration of our stay. There were a lot of kids there. There was pizza boxes on the floor in the hallway and kids running up and down the halls. I’m glad we only needed to stay one night.

Ho hum hotel
Just a meh hotel. They were redoing the parking lot while I was there. Was pretty inconvenient and difficult to avoid the mess. Service was fine everyone was nice. Wasn’t the cleanest hotel ever. There was a service cart in the hallway for the 2+ days I was there and it had chicken bones sitting in it the whole time. One of the elevators broke on the second day.

THe check in clerk was kind, helpful and friendly. The Aloft is conducting some renovations at this time, so this was the only reason I didn't give them a 5 star rating.

Asked to have room cleaned on 2 separate occasions. Stayed for four days with no trash being emptied, no clean towels. The desk team are great and friendly, housekeeping not so much!

My stay was enjoyable however the room layout was too quirky. The room safe is clearly in the incorrect place, the barn door style sliding glass door can be obstructed by the safe door being slightly open. All of the lighting fixtures didn’t work and also the light switches were located in a weird place not accessible while in bed. Either provide one large garbage receptacle in the room or make sure there are some in the public areas on the floor like near the elevators. I can see why not in the Ice machine area.
