"when we checked in we were informed that the only restaurant in town was closed for the next 2 days. the only place to get groceries was a gas station in town with nothing healthy or drive 30 minutes to another town. There was a coffee shop that we were told would have some sandwiches available so we checked with them at 7 am and were told that they would arrive around 9 am. went back at 11 am and they still had not arrived, No one in the office seem to think that no food being available was a problem"
"We were there in June during what is apparently the high season. It was a pretty basic room for $200+, but it was clean. Although one of our party's room's had lipstick on the pillow.
There is free parking, and you are right in town."
Lake front Quinault Cottage Inside Olympic National Park
10/10 Excellent
"We only had one day at the location since we were staying on the trip in Tacoma. We use the spot as a launchpad to go to hoh rainforest and the tree of life. The salmon House restaurant across the lake is worth the drive"
"let me lead with the positive. very nice room, incredible view with a cozy bed.
but, the room next to had a type of jack supports holding up the deck. there was parking in the front that people were not using as it also had rotten posts and orange cones. the gutters were growing things. i realize the moisture here is a problem and causes more necessary maintenance, but this resort is to nice to let go down.
would stay again. short drive to the beach if you don’t want to take the stairs, which could be tough for some. but our best surprise is that you can drive on the beach! sand dollars galore."
"Excellent stay and very convenient for our trip. Diane is a great host and the property is wonderful. We had everything we needed including the much needed space!"
