Bummed the hot tub was closed, but otherwise the hotel has everything you need. Lovely bar/restaurant on site.

The camper room are very unique. Walls are thin so you can easily hear your neighbor next door. The number of people and children using the wading pool was ridiculous. If the large adult spa is not working there should be some room compensation. The whole pool area was too crowded. This use to be a nice and small venue. It has grown too much.

Everything was great, really liked the experience, location, friendly team, etc. The only thing is the hot tub was not working and this was our second stay in two years where that was the case. it would be nice when staying in the winter months.

Great place! Love the decor. The restaurant was super delicious with wonderful live music. The grounds are lovely. Only downside was that the hot hot pool was not available.

Looks can be deceiving. ... the photos on the website really sold this property as a chic boutique hotel. In reality, the room felt like a Best Western with a lick of paint and some fun decor. It even smells like an old motel. It's a great location, and the restaurant/bar seemed nice (we ate off property), but I had high hopes and was really disappointed.

The negatives: I’m not sure if it’s because it was winter during our stay, but the onsite restaurant was only open for dinner and the spa was closed one day during our stay. Also, the website lists 3 pools but in reality it’s 2 pools and a jacuzzi. In the camper suite, the table that converts to a bed requires a worker to come and convert it. That was a big downer for us. Positives: the staff was always very helpful, the restaurant was really good ( get the mushroom pizza!) and the entire place is very kid friendly. And the pools are lovely.

The Calistoga. Motor Lodge is definitely a good option if you are staying in Calistoga. We have stayed there several times. Although this time we noticed that it is starting to show its age. It could use a coat of paint and a little lift here and there. Our bathroom door had a hole in it for some reason (seemed to have had something there prior), some stains of some sort on the bathroom floor and a broken bathroom hook. This visit they did not tell us that their hot tub was under maintenance which was very disappointing to us as we were looking forward to this feature in particular. If we had known we would have probably selected a different location. The staff was very nice and helpful. The Fleetwood restaurant never disappoints. Everything we have ordered has been delicious. Definitely recommend the restaurant even if you are not staying at the hotel. Suggest to management to upgrade or upkeep the rooms. Notice that many rooms have been added to the property so maybe paying more attention to those rooms as opposed to the ground floor originals?

$700 for one night for a revamped motel seems steep, but it was still a lovely time. The staff was not friendly. Bikes were a plus. Calistoga is fantastic. Pros and cons... and wine.

I booked this property for two nights as a place to decompress after a 6 day retreat. I accidentally booked the check in for a day early, and didn't realize this until the following day to due to being off line. I called the front desk to explain what had happened and they informed me that "there was nothing they could do" and that my payment for the first night was lost as a penalty and they cancelled the second night. I tried to rebook and the second night was twice the amount I had paid, so I booked another property. I managed to find a lower rate for the second night and booked it. Upon checking in. I noticed the property looked and felt a little worn. The parking lot had pot holes and the grounds were not 5 star. I was looking forward to unwinding in the jacuzzi and they told me it was broken. The biggest issue was how poor the sound proofing was and I was kept awake by the occupants in the next room banging and moaning against my wall. All in all... not a positive experience.

My complaint is with Expedia. The place is listed as 4 stars when the reality is that the place should be listed as a 2 stars. The place is modest and my complaint with the motel is that they charge $35 as resort fee which at best is a joke. On the parking lot there is construction material. Close by, the construction noise started at 8:00 am. The room is quite modest. The refrigirator did not work.

This property is just so so. It was clean but the mineral hot tub is broken and they still charge a resort fee. The property needs some upgrades relative to its competition.
