"We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would highly recommend The Meritage to anyone visiting the Finger Lakes. The location was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, wineries, and everything we wanted to see during our trip.The host was exceptional from the start. Communication was prompt, friendly, and helpful, Morgan went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The highlight of the property was undoubtedly the breathtaking view. Whether enjoying coffee or relaxing in the evening. The scenery was simply gorgeous and made our stay feel extra special.We wouldn’t have asked for a better experience and would gladly stay at The Meritage again in the future."

"Great stay over overall for two weekends! More affordable than other hotels. Food nearby. They missed restocking some of the coffee supplies in my rooms but otherwise. Very good stay."

"Many times web photo's are not so accurate as to the lodging. This time, it's the exact opposite. The beautiful internet photo's do not do justice to The Sutherland House. Property and home are nothing short of spectacular. Absolutely every detail attended to in a superior manner. The Sutherland House is what all others shoud aspire to be."

"The hotel and grounds were so well taken care of, it was a delight to stay there! The staff was mostly friendly and the location was close to downtown attractions. My biggest complaint is there's only one elevator and it's at the far end of the corridor, not centrally located. You get a bit of a workout if your room is located at the other end!"
