Lovely hotel, but as we had hired a car we found it a little difficult to locate. If you are driving park in the Port Antic for free and walk up the steps by the harbour or if you can find the back entrance to the hotel you can drop your cases. I would definitely stay here again, staff were very helpful, rooms immaculate, most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. As well as a small pool there was also an underground pool, quite unique.
This is a production line hotel that does most things right. Breakfast is good but straight out of Butlin's.
Most of the staff are great, though some of them look weary because of working long hours.
Spotlessly clean. Evening meal OK, but probably better to book B&B and go out locally or into Cuitadella for at least a few evenings. Your call.
Don't worry about 'evening entertainment' if this isn't your bag. It is variable....and shuts down well before 23:00.
Overall a good experience. Our room booking was wrong when we arrived. All sorted with a smile.
Not on the beach and no view, but the excellent beach is 5 mins walk away.
If you are hanging around waiting to go home sitting sweating by the pool waiting for the bus to take you to the airport after the 12:00 room chuck-out, ask about the brilliant showers under block 6. This info isn't volunteered by the hotel.
Overall...go for it.
Relaxing, beautiful and really close to the beach.
The food is always different and good also in the "inclusive" menu.
Pool and gym if you want.
I would certanly reccomend it if you search for a relaxing holiday.
From beginning to end our stay was very pleasant. Our apt was located close to beach, and bus stop for easy access to nearby town or other beaches. Restaurants plentiful and varied, though some had already closed because of the time of year (end of their season). Would recommend Cala Blanca and Menorca to other holiday makers.
All staff work extremely hard from cleaners to bar staff, waiters to entertainment team, & nothing is too much trouble. Not for those looking for a wild time as fairly quiet location though kids are well catered for. Great for tanning, relaxing and good choice of food and drinks included in ai.
Notice that there were alot of Polish guests and they outnumbered British and Spanish by 3:1 easily.
Pocket Guide: Menorca Ciutadella de Menorca Hotels
Menorca’s most attractive town, Ciudadella is a charming unspoiled warren of elegant 18th- and 19th-century mansions, palaces and churches. At its heart is a typically Spanish gothic-baroque cathedral, a picturesque arcaded shopping street, Ses Voltes, and a quaint old market area. The shopping is the best on the island, and for nightlife and eating out it rivals the capital Mahon.
