Does what it says on the tin.
Everything you see in the hotel publicity photos is what you get. From the room to the food and everything in between. Although situated near the beach, I never ventured out of hotel...very unusual for me, bar a trip to Souk El Had (Sunday Market).Last visited 40 years ago. A veritable feast for the eyes and nose, Fresh spices, fruit and of course dates, newly tanned leather goods, perfumes and oils. Beautiful silverware and jewellery, Fancy a Djellaba or proper harem pants...?. I digress... Plenty of good quality sun beds and plenty of sunspots to use them. Room was bright and airy...although we were top floor which meant the city sound permeated through the night, but small and unavoidable price to pay. Could have asked for sea view...but I already live on the coast. Beds extremely comfortable. All refurbished around 2013/14, the hotel has a modern contemporary feel. The dining room does not feel like an impersonal army cookhouse. Food always being replenished.Afternoon pancakes to die for. Fresh orange juice pressed for you at breakfast....all perfect and we will be going back, next time for two weeks. I have paid more for less so this place gets my 5*+.
