City Centre Dublin is a walkable neighborhood that's popular for its restaurants and bars. In addition to its college atmosphere, the neighborhood has many charming qualities. You can satisfy your cultural palate with theater and live music. With hotels to suit everyone's tastes, City Centre Dublin serves as a good starting point for exploring the greater Dublin area.

Sightseeing around City Centre Dublin

The area's storied past is told through the monuments and historic sites, while local museums and theaters add a sense of refinement. Button Factory, National Wax Museum Plus, and Chester Beatty Library and Gallery of Oriental Art feature a variety of exhibits. You can attend a show at Olympia Theatre, Gaiety Theatre, and Abbey Theatre. Learn about the local history at Dublin Castle, Bank of Ireland, and General Post Office. Millennium Bridge, Ha' Penny Bridge, and The Spire are some local landmarks. Hours of family fun are waiting at Dublin Zoo, National Aquatic Centre, and Clondalkin Leisure Centre.

Getting around City Centre Dublin

If you want to get around the city, Jervis Station is the closest metro stop. Others nearby include Abbey Street Station and Four Courts Station. To see the sights outside of town, hop aboard a train. Dublin Tara Street Station is the closet train station, but Dublin Pearse Street Station and Dublin Connolly Station are also nearby.
