The hotel arranged our transfer from the airport. It was 15 euros each way. Our room had complementary water (both still and sparkling), orange juice, coffee, and tea. There was a clear view of the castle and the Old Town from the window. The pull-out bed was already made-up for us, as well as the baby crib which also had sheets and blankets (not always the case). Breakfast was 10 euros, and consisted of a wide selection of both sweet and savory breakfast items. Our luggage was held for the day while we explored the Old Town, and when we returned, the staff called us a taxi to the airport, and took our postcards to mail (free of charge). Congress Hotel was probably one of the friendliest and most convenient hotels I have ever stayed in.

The front desk staff was very friendly. They allowed me to check in 3 hours prior to the scheduled check in time. The room was very well kept. Everything clean with fresh linens. The furniture is basic more Ikea dorm room compared to luxury, but that is what I expected and it was definitely adequate for me. I had a single room, which was quite massive. There was a refrigerator in the room which seems to be rare for most European hotels. I was on the 4th floor facing the alley. Not much of a view, but I did not come to visit Lithuania to just look out the window. The breakfast was plentiful and was replenished on a regular basis. I left three hours prior to the start of breakfast, but I received a takeaway breakfast with a sandwich, juice, fruit, and cookies for my journey which was quite nice. The wifi was strong throughout the entire facility. The hotel is extremely easy to get to from the airport. Hop on bus 3G, pay 1 euro. About 15 minutes later (8 stops away), the bus will drop you off diagonally to the hotel. You cannot miss it. It is outside of the old town, but in walking distance to it. It was nice to see a little more of the "regular" people compared to only other tourists. I would definitely stay there again!
Very good hotel in a great location. Easy reach of all the key attractions, good bars and some excellent restaurants. Staff were helpful and very friendly - would 100% recommend this hotel if you choose to visit Vilnius.
Hotel is very well placed for seeing Vilnius and is closer to Cathedral square than anticipated which is a bonus. Plenty of restaurants around and if you like coffee, plenty of coffee shops.
The staff are friendly and the breakfast is also a good selection. The bar area is the main focus of the hotel. Food there is good (Novo 2)
Rooms are modern. My only criticism is the position of the bathroom and the doors. They open directly into the main area of the bedroom and the doors are two half doors that don't fully meet. As a party of four, not ideal for privacy. Not sure if all rooms are like this.
WiFi is very good and free. The hotel also has a reception computer and printer ideal for online check in and boarding card printing.
Overall it is a hotel I would return to if I come back to Vilnius.

"Good hotel that acts as a base to explore Vilnius"
Nice hotel, attentive staff, clean rooms (if a little warm for October) and very generous breakfast. Used as a base to explore Vilnius for 4 days. About a 15 minute walk to the outskirts of the old town, but in a nice enough area. No problems, would recommend
Vilnius city center combines the old-town charm of the city with its modern edge, and the expanding business district is considered the new center. With one of the largest business centers in the Baltic States, including financial institutions and government offices, Vilnius displays its individuality with its diverse architecture and many churches, thereby keeping its medieval tone.
