Station for Cinq Terre

Posted 25-Nov-2016
Pros: /1. Rooms are clean and spacious/2. Very helpful hotel staff/3. Very good view from the hotel room/ 4. free shuttle bus to the town and train staton/
Location: Train station
I have stayed in Park hotel Argento for 2 nights as my base to adventure Cinq terre . That was my most satisfactory hotel stay in my 20 day journey. It is around 15 minutes walk from the Train station, but the hotel offer free shuttle bus to overcome this issue. The hotel staff are very knowledgable about the area and very helpful and the room is very very spacious.

Great staff, Great Location

Posted 01-Nov-2016
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions of places to see and how to easily get there. They offered a really lovely breakfast.
Cons: Everything was great, so no negative comments to make.
Location: The motel was in a great location with easy parking. It was a short walk into town, a bit hilly, but no problem for us as we prefer to walk as we can

5 stars at a reasonable price

First rate hotel with all the amenities. Excellent and helpful staff. Rooms were large and comfy. Great restaurant and bar. This place has more than we had time for. Used it as a base for our excursions into Cinque Terre.

Superb hotel in a delightful location.

Posted 18-Oct-2016
Location: This hotel is in Levanto. It is a great little town offering everything from hiking to surfing to trains/buses to Cinque Terre.
I recommend this hotel without hesitation. We thoroughly enjoyed our room, the restaurant, grounds and location. The staff at our arrival was great; ditto our departure. We hope to return.

Great location for exploring Cinque Terre

Posted 09-Oct-2016
Pros: The location and amenities were great. Loved the pool area and the breakfast buffet was full of variety. It also catered for lactose free.
Cons: We booked a balcony room with a view and got a dark terrance room with no view. Staff were great and moved us into suite the second night.
Location: The location is ideal for relaxing and exploring the 5 towns. Only a short walk to train or you can take complimentary shuttle which is great service.

Great Base for Cinque Terre

Posted 04-Oct-2016 on Hotels
The staff was outstanding! The breakfast had an amazing variety. The hotel was very clean and new feeling. The free shuttle was a nice addition since the town was down the hill from the hotel and was a steep walk up to get back. The train station was only about a quarter mile from the hotel, but, again, a fairly steep walk back. But at least not very far.

Complimentary

Posted 26-Sep-2016
Pros: The complimentary pick up and drop off!
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: Within minutes by train of the villages of Cinque Terre and Italian coast.
I was hesitant at first to reserve two nights at Park Hotel Argento because of the cost per night in mid September. But after exploring the cost of other lodgings in the area, I am thankful we did. Could we have found something less expensive --- probably yes. But would it have matched what we received --- perhaps not. It began with complimentary pick up and drop off service starting at the railroad station and included the same in the community of Levanto. Although certainly walkable, as we did, after a wonderful meal in Levanto, it was wonderful to have the service without having to call a taxi. And after the hustle and bustle of Florence, Rome, Milan and Venice, it was a treat to sit down in comfort in a large, clean room with a terrace view over Levanto and a peek at the coast. What cannot predict the weather and of course we had a cool rain that prohibited our hiking and exploration of the Cinque Terre which begins minutes away by train. Thankfully we were able to use the steam room and sauna at the hotel (free!) in lieu of getting into the area more deeply. Our two nights ended quickly, but our good memories linger of a quality vacation in a resort like setting.

Great hotel in a nice place close to everything

Posted 16-Sep-2016
Pros: Everything
Location: Train station is nearby, trains will deliver you to every town in Cinque Terre in no time. There are many hiking trails in Levanto and Cinque Terre.
Very nice hotel with a great staff, close to everything including beach and train station, short walk to old town, restaurants, promenade. Located on a forested hill, surrounded by a small garden. Hotel provides a free shuttle bus which picks you up from the station or town.

Never stay in room 333,334. It is under the kitchen and is noisy till 12 midnight and then again from 6 am . They moved us to another room that was quiet. Nice hotel and staff. Great wellness center .
