Very nice B & B with a very accommodating owner/staff. Initially reluctant to stay at a B & B as we usually stay at large major chain resort properties that have numerous amenities, but as there are none of those types of properties in the Cinque Terre, we decided to try a new experience in a small B & B.
We are very happy with this choice as it was a very unique experience and it felt like this was our own private villa located just steps away from the main attractions and was on of the fondest memories of our trip to Italy.
Although the rooms are on the first floor with not much of a view, the courtyard was a very comfortable place to relax and enjoy breakfast.

We greatly appreciated the roominess - a small kitchen area, sitting room, etc. This is so much better that a traditional hotel room. The staff was equally generous, providing a breakfast for our early departure and, most importantly, transporting us to the train station because taxis did not operate that early.

We couldn't find the hotel. It wasn't the first time we marched right past the entrance looking for a hotel. Problem with this one if you go too far you are marching uphill! But once we realized our mistake we were thrilled to get checked in speedily. We booked two rooms for our group and both rooms were very nice. Our stay in Riomaggiore was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Del Sole! It was easy to get to by car, plus provided parking. Very good location for going into town to shop or eat. It was also easy to get to the train or boat to visit the other villages. The staff was exceptionally helpful with local information; providing a friendly, peaceful environment; providing a good breakfast; and were always there to help when needed. Our whole trip to Cinque Terre was exceptional and our experience at this hotel only added to our visit!
Good location with a view of the sea and town. Staff is friendly and helpful. Cleanliness overall can be improved, even though the town itself is old style. Breakfast was okay, but suffers from cleanliness problems as well.
One of the days there was no electricity in the town for a few hours, and nothing that hotel could do as they dont have generators or any alternate power arrangements.
I arrived in Manarola for a 3 night stay to see the Cinque terra coast. The hotel is in a great spot near the train station and close to resturants/bars and shops. When i arrived, i experienced the best customer service i think i have ever had with any hotel with the hotel manager! He was extremely helpful with telling me where to go to start some hikes and told me places to take the best photos and to get the best food. I was extremely happy and pleased with the experience. 10/10 would stay again
Comprised of five tiny villages perched atop the cliffs of northern Italy's Riviera, the Cinque Terre is renowned for its lush vineyards and stunning Mediterranean Sea views. Ancient footpaths are the best way to explore. Via dell'Amore, a 5-hour hike through all 5 towns, provides postcard-worthy panoramas. Unwind by sipping specialty wines in Manarola or sunbathing at a Corniglia beach.
