Great experience. They have the best of both worlds; enjoy the nice warm water in the pool or take a casual walk in a forest setting to reach your own private beach club with clean sandy Paestum beach and clear warm water, or have a nice stroll on a bike by the newly built beach walk. Very friendly and helpful staff. The owners are always there and available to resolve any issues. Highly recommended. @TheChantillyEstate.

Does not disappoint.
Fantastic place for a relaxing holiday in this family run upmarket establishment. The owners eye for detail is impeccable. Beautiful swimming pool and a beach a stone throw away. Beach restaurant offers good food in a nice setting although not the cheapest! Not my first time here and won’t be the last.

Lovely late August family holiday
Hotel has a great pool area and lovely private beach through a short pine forest walk. Rooms were fine and kept clean. Very family orientated hotel, almost all other guests were Italian and the spoken English of the hotel employees was limited, but was all fine and we could get by. You could stay just the week at the hotel but food would start to get a bit repetitive, we had a hire car and went to the local village area for meals some days - there are a number of nice eateries overlooking the archeological site and acropolis. Considering going back next year.

Nice pool and gardens dirty beach mediocre cooking
The pool is wonderful and the gardens lush and full of birdsong. We had an apartment and our son a room in the hotel. Both were adequate, except that our son's Air condtioning was not working for two of our four days. We told them and they said they would repair it pronto. They did not but lied that they had, then said that the technician had come and done it, then said the technician had not been available. Eventually, after more complaints, someone consented to turn it on. There was a loud wedding until 3 am one night, requiring the use of ear-plugs in order to sleep. The drinks were seriously expensive. But the worse thing was the food. The breakfast was OK but the one supper we had was terrible, "school food" type. An "amuse bouche" that was a tiny piece of smoked salmon with a dollop of lemon mayo, some mixed macaroni with a few veg and then grey strips of meat in a grey artichoke sauce with no other veg. This was followed by a sickly dessert. The wine list s excellent. We ate elsewhere other nights, so I don't advise full or half board, there are lots of good restaurants around. Paestum, the ancient site, is an absolute marvel and I would have slept in a fleapit to see it, Oleandri is not that bad!

Excellent Kids Club - fantastic pool (when open)
The kids club staff were exceptional - Gerardo & team genuinely appeared to enjoy what they did. 8 & 4 yo loved joining. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful all around. Only little gripe with stay was that upon check-in we were told that we had half-board. didn't bother to fact check this and took the opportunity to eat dinner in the hotel that night, not worrying about prices, and indulged in 12 Euro starters even for the kids (pasta) in addition to our pizza's (all good!) which would have been enough on their own. So we were shocked to be told that we were B&B only and had to pay for dinner - nearly 50 Euro's wasted on starters we wouldn't have paid for. Really our fault as we should have re-checked our confirmation before ordering...but we trusted the woman on reception when we checked in that half-board was correct.

Lovely hotel, shame about the weddings!
We booked this hotel for a week at half term. The main part of the hotel and pool area were fabulous, very clean and in great condition. However, our room, an elegance apartment was very basic and quite musty. We decided it didn't matter too much as all we were doing there was sleeping. The pool area is beautiful, gardens are very well kept, restaurant is fabulous. The one big downside to this hotel is that they hold weddings here most days, we stayed for 6 nights, there were weddings on 3 days. We hadn't been told that they did this, so we were quite suprised when we couldn't access the pool after 4pm one afternoon. I spoke to one of the managers, who was very apologetic and explained that we should have been informed when we booked and also when we checked in, neither of these had happened! The staff were very good and overall we had a great stay! We got round the wedding "situation" by staying at the pool, then heading to the hotel's private beach when they started setting up for the wedding.

Vey well maintained, clean hotel, fantastic staff and lovley beach. The standard room was a little on the small side but we were not in there long any way. There were three of us in it it would be fine for two.

Great south Italy
We had great family time in the resort. Very good service and very supportive. We really enjoyed the amazing pool and area, the fact we had no internet in the room, only in pool or lobby area, made our vacation even better. The resort private beach is about 300 meters walk and sure worth it. The equipped kitchen in the room was very useful and gave us more opportunities for family togetherness.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Oleandri. This is a resort with top quality amenities. Targeted at young famies but worked great for us for a short chill out stay with two teenage boys. The staff were great. Very friendly.

We loved the pool! The hotel is lovely although the restaurant is quite pricey. The kitchen was very basic in our appartment, the oven had been disabled and there was no microwave. The cleaners did not clean the kitchen the whole time we were there. The entertainment is great if you understand Italian. The location is good, but you do need to hire a car

A bit out of the way- but a brilliant resort.
This hotel had everything for a great holiday. My only comments would be that it was very geared to people with young children or those 60+. We felt like the only people in their 40s (without kids) staying there. The first week was brilliant (September 6-13), however, during the second week, the entire area began closing down for the season. Many restaurants shut, they pulled in the beach ropes, the pool bar stopped serving... it was okay but we felt the second week could have been discounted. Oleandri Resort is a well-run, beautiful hotel. It's very classy and comfortable.

Very nice resort, perfect for families.
Resort is amazing with a selection of different rooms in gardens or in main hotel building. All nice, spacious and clean. Food at all meal times 5 star and very fresh and varied. Additional Pizza/Panini restaurant. Very good entertainment for children of all ages without disturbing adults in separate gardens and play areas so gives parents a chance to relax too. Area is amazing for exploring Pompei, Herculaneum, Paestum, Amalfi, Cilento etc etc Lots to see and do. Just make sure you have a car as area is remote and you will need to drive everywhere from this resort. Airport is 1.5 hours away and car rental just outside so very convenient. Highly recommending a stay at the Oleandri resort.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Oleandri to attend a friend's wedding in Agropoli. The hotel staff were all great, the restaurant serves consistently great food and our room was immaculate. It's in a great location for reaching he beach and getting a glimpse of the stunning coastline scenery. We also hid bikes from the hotel to cycle to Agropoli. It's not cheap to get around as you'll need to get taxis everywhere. THere are no buses. Make sure you get a taxi from Paestum or Capaccio station as it's a hike from both stations.

I stayed here in a standard 5 bed apartment with 6 friends and had an amazing experience. Now, if you're a 20-something, I warn you, this may not be the place for you. It's really more of a Italian family getaway for leisure at the hotel. There's not really anything club-like or attraction-wise to do other than the Paestum ruins (which is incredibly, by the way). But my group of 20-something friends enjoyed ourselves and managed to find things to do. The hotel is beautiful, breakfast is delicious, and the staff is so kind and fun. The apartment was just fine for 6 people, even without a rollaway bed. It's pricy, but worth it. Also, best if you have a car. Transportation is a bit scarce and I highly recommend taking a gay trip to Agropoli, which is about a 30 min drive south of the hotel. Also, if you are looking for the one club in Paestum, ask reception where the discoteca is and they will point you to the one discoteca close by that's right on the beach. Extremely happy with this hotel nd experience.

Wished we had stayed longer
Reason we picked here was to see the amazing temples at Paestum nearby (much better than the Parthenon in Athens!). We booked as an overnight stop on our way down south Italy, but wished we'd stayed longer! The hotel is a resort hotel, perfect for relaxing by pool or going to beach - which we didn't have time to do. Mostly Italians staying (a good thing!) but staff had very good English and were very friendly. The pool was great with lush gardens around it. One surprise was the food: as this is a resort hotel I wasn't expecting much, but the restaurant was excellent and not over-priced. We had a family apartment on site; perfect for 4 people and really clean.

Warm welcome & convenient!
The resort is beautiful and convenient for visiting the Greek ruins and the staff is warm and welcoming. Angelo and his family take great pride in their establishment and it shows. The grounds are impeccably maintained and the restaurant is far better than what you find at many resorts. Although we were traveling as a couple, the resort's care to include children was evident. There were plenty of ways to keep the little ones amused while mom and dad could relax. This is an excellent choice to suit many needs. Highly recommend!

Noisy and not well maintained
This is a 4-star resort with a huge pool. However their suites lacks lamps by the bed and the door to the bathroom (in my suite) had the ability to get stucked. Some of the rooms were rented by a group of kids from a italian footballteam. These kids were rather noisy - kids are kids, but we was not able to eat in the restaurant because of the noise.

Great but a little Pushy
We stayed one night and almos all was great. The location and accomodations were great. We arrived late at night and the staff stayed late to feed us. We were grateful for that. The food was great. What we did not like was how pushy they were the following day to feed us lunch. I only wanted a frutty di mare pasta and they brought all kinds of foods that we did not ask for. They did not listening very well and we ended up paying 80 euros (about $120) for lunch. They kept saying Amerincans only eat one dish. So what? If that is what we want that is what I should get. After all, we arethe ones paying. On the overall they were good, but they quite pushy in the eating area. That also happened in a couple of other places in Italy. So, be creful and do not hesitate to stand up and leave if they are too pushy.

The relaxing place that has nothing working
We checked into the resort and had to walk completely around the resort to get to the lobby. The pool was awesome, but with no air conditioning, and no screens on the windows it was a miserable night. In the morning we found out that the refrigerator did not work and we are pretty sure our drinks were warmer after being in the there. At dinner the sea food was not prepared/ cleaned properly... it was uneatable. Next there was a fly in on my steak. And dinner cost 74 dollars. The food was a 2, the room was a 2 and the location was a 2.... not sure who they paid off to get a 4 star rating... So not worth the money.

Oleandri Resort Christmas surprise
Oleandri Resort is conveniently close to the ruins at Paestum, but we were just passing through on our way back to Rome. The week between Christmas and New Year isn't a major tourist event in this area, so we were not expecting the extraordinary service that the hotel staff - including the owners - during our brief stay there. We were made to feel like family - sitting around a warm fire and exchanging experiences and stories with travel to different places. We were even invited to watch a rehearsal of their family New Year entertainment show. The room was good, but not exceptional, and the grounds were a delight. We'd go back there in a heartbeat.

There were a few problems ie: floor drain in bathroom backed up and flooded, the food wasn't great and they blasted the same song at the pool for several hours as a "dance group" practiced for a performance. Nice grounds and pool. It was fine for the off season rate, but not worth what they charge during the rest of the year.

Très bel hôtel, proche de la plage. Belle piscine, verdoyant. Pizzas excellentes, petit dej très correct. Équipe de restauration au top. Chambres spacieuses et propres. Malheureusement, tout ceci est gâché par le fait qu’ils organisent des mariages TOUS les jours. Du bruit certains soir. Et ils interdisent l’accès à la piscine et a snack quand il y a les mariages. Ils profitent de l’argent des vacanciers alors que nous n’avons pas toujours accès à tout les équipements. C’est très dommage.

Tolle Anlage, wunderschön angelegt, tolle Vegetation, schöne Beleuchtung in der Nacht, toller Pool. Zimmer etwas hellhörig. Laute Geräuschkulisse. Super toller Strand und Beach Club. Nicht weit zu laufen, kurzer Weg durch angenehm schattigen Pinienwald. Jeden Tag Zimmerservice und frische Handtücher. Haben uns wohl gefühlt. Kommen wieder. Auto jefoch zwingend empfehlenswert. Liegt etwas abseits, jedoch nicht weit zu den antiken Bauten von Paestum .
