"Friendly staff, near the central station, good restaurants nearby. Only downsides: no evelator and the cooler on your room is very loud, which makes it hard to sleep"

You can spend an afternoon studying the exhibits at Kagoshima City Museum of Art in Kagoshima. Stroll along the waterfront or discover the area's volcano viewpoints.
"Incredible hotel, for what was presumably an excellent deal. Note of clarification, the room was labelled as "NO VIEW", but we were still placed on the tenth floor and got a lovely view of the rear side of the hotel, with scenic greenery, and a nice contrast of classic and modern Kagoshima. Overall great experience; staff was lovely, plenty of facilities at and near the hotel, and some of them came at quite reasonable prices for more budget-minded people like myself.
Would recommend a car as it is quite difficult to walk to and from the hotel to the city or anything central. There is a good bus that runs to popular locations, right near the reception, but it doesn't run very late and has a specific route.
Overall excellent experience 👍👍"
"This hotel is connected to the JR station so you can walk straight into this hotel the moment you check out of the turnstile. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. "
"Very good view against the Sakurajima island. Exceptional location. Parking fee is 1000 yen per night and it has a pretty big parking lot near the Lawson if the covered parking lot is full. Very good breakfast for about $27 two adults and two kids."
