"Loved this home! Enough room for our family of 8. I would not recommend packing your days with stuff away from this property as you will want to enjoy at least half of every day soaking it all up Matsumoto Shave Ice and Makua Banana Bread Co. nearby are both a MUST on your foodie list The Toa Luau in Waimea Valley was just phenomenal "

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hale Kai is a wonderful memory now. The beds were a little on the soft side, but otherwise we had a fun, sunny, relaxing week. (Wish it was two!) We especially loved visits from the roving kitty, Pookie. She was special and I miss her!"

"Our family of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We love being away from the busy beaches and having our own beach in the backyard. Sometimes the water is brown but other times it is clear, depending on the tide and currents. The beds were comfortable and the a/c in each room helped tremendously. It was great to have access to do laundry during our stay. We were there during Tropical storm Lala and besides a few broken branches, the property didn't sustain any damage. The property manager was so helpful and very responsive. Overall it was a great stay!"
