"It was wonderful. We were there for a family function not far away, so we were not there for the entire day. Also, keep in mind when you look at my review, I knew before-hand that there was no central air and that we shared (2) bathrooms with others on our floor (3rd floor). Our stay was during August that had 90+ degree days. We had a window air conditioner and a fan in our room that was more than adequate to cool our room in a short amount of time. We would turn off the air conditioner when we left for the day and when we returned, it would take about 10 minutes to cool the room. Due to the fact that they had 2 bathrooms available, there was only one time (in the morning) that I had to wait, no more than 10 minutes, to use the bathroom.
The beach is so nice. Lots of beach chairs there to use.Children played and swam while we watched. There is a raft not very far out that they played on. A teatherball set and the firepits made the beach area complete.
Up at the hotel, they had many chairs and porch rockers on the outside porch that faced the lake. Inside, they also have a "game room" with, as I remembered, a shuffle board table, pool, pingpong and fooseball. I think that there may also have had board games available. What a great area for non-video family fun.
We had a beautiful stay and plan on returning next year."
"The property is beautiful right on the golf course and lake. It was lovely walking through the neighborhood to get to town. The room was delightful and so cozy. The beds were so comfortable! The chocolate chip cookies and treats on the bedside were a huge hit. My daughter loved the snack bar and breakfast. Thank you!"

"No culinary tools- i.e.Cooking utensils-mixing/tossing bowl's- pots etc.No grillGreat location-walked everywhere No mattress covers on any of the mattresses-gross, you can’t launder a mattress!Upon arrival:1.Cleanliness of bed linens on a couple beds was questionable (did laundry while vacationing)2.Full outdoor garbage bin (maybe should have multiple bins)3. Allowed us to park 2 trucks w/trailers in backyard 4. Way too many glade plug-ins in outlets- total of 11 5. Upstairs smells like a smoker lived up there for years "
"Amazing location and cute cottage. Would recommend leaving ac running if guests are checking in as the window ac cooled the place but took a few hours and it was close to 94 degrees out when we checked in. Would also recommend keeping a few coffee mugs for guests and doing a deeper clean of the bathroom."
"Perfect house for any occasion. Front porch view is amazing. Steps from downtown and right on the lake. Charming old house with lots of great stories. "
