We have stayed many times and the staff are always amazing! Restaurant is cozy with a good menu, and the buffet breakfast has everything a person could want. My children always have a swim in the pool, and it seemed more heated than usual this visit, which was a pleasant surprise on a chilly evening!

A great place to stay me and my wife stayed here as our son is starting uni staff very helpful restaurant was great room was very nice clean and smelled lovely. And very well priced for your hard earned money . will recommend and stay here again in a heart beat and they have a spa which works as well. a great spot thank you all so much .

Parking would be the only (minor!) issue. It appeared to be quite busy, so parking outside the room wasn't always available. Having mentioned that, parking was available at various locations in and around the hotel so never had to walk more than 30 seconds to the room.

I live on the West Coast and always stay at Pavillions when we go over the hill to Christchurch. It is consistently good, lots of rooms and ample parking. The parking is secure, with gates on the back of the property which are securely locked at night. Very handy to everything in Christchurch, great restaurant, just an overall good hotel.

The hotel room we had was clean and very spacious. We overall liked the hotel, except guests can smoke outside of their room in the property. We had a few men who smoked cigarettes all the time below our room. So that was not pleasant at all. I told the hotel staff. They said they did not reinforce no smoking in the property so guests were allowed to smoke in the balcony. Another issue is parking. Although they provide onsite free parking. So people have huge pickup trucks that made impossible to park. That needs more regulation as well. The hotel is about 30 minutes on food to the town center.

Hi ZhaoliThank you for your review. We are one of the very few who do not charge for parking, that being said yes it does get quite busy in the car park but we are always willing to come help our guests find a park if they are struggling.

Check-in was a breeze and front desk team was really friendly. Convenient location for a work trip, walkable to nearby supermarket (about 800 m away) and fast food just around the corner when the restaurant is closed for the night.

Very noisy, and property was patchy. Ie blocked up door to next room that let through a lot of noise keeping us up. Pipes rattled when neighbours used water. Cheap junky faucets and fittings in shower. Cars parked everywhere. Spa was good

My sister and I flew into chch from different cities and had an overnight stay. Loved the location, and relative quiet. We’re able to walk into town, restaurants and felt very safe. Reception Staff were great. Would stay again.

Spacious, laundry area in the compound, rooms (bed mattress is very good neither too soft nor hard) simple but are clean and fairly spacious. Breakfast spread does not have a great variety of dishes but was good enough to enjoy it as it was delicious. Parking was easy. Would recommend.

Clean but dated interior. Broken bathroom door and mirror light didn't work. Spa bath was small and very loud once turned on so not very relaxing. Limited cutlery and very small dishes and bowls. Food at the restaurant was great and there is a spa but water was quite cloudy. Terrible parking as it was very small and cramped and no designated parking. Close to town if thats what youre looking for.

This particular room is due to be renovated next winter but you can see the differences online between the executive and the executive deluxe.We are one of the very few hotels who do not charge for parking in saying that parking can get tight but we are always happy to come help our guests find one.
