The property itself was new and very well-equipped and decorated. It had everything we needed to feel at home during our stay. And the location was perfect. Steps to a huge urban park and botanical gardens, and just minutes walk to all of the restaurants and shopping in central Christchurch. And if you don’t feel like walking, you can always hire one of the e-scooters that are readily available throughout the downtown core. A fun and cheap way to get around. Also within walking distance of the central bus exchange where you can catch a bus virtually anywhere in the city. We had a hired car but didn’t really need it. The owner was easily contacted and responsive. He bent over backward to help us look for alternative accommodation when the cyclone extended our stay, and was really friendly and understanding. Overall the property and location are 5-stars across the board. We will absolutely be staying there again on our next visit to Christchurch, and I’ll be referring my family and friends as well. ##### Calvin P.
