After searching for a house to rent, I realize what a gem this house has been for us. I could have stayed for a year! I realize now that NZ homes are not well heated, however this home had a heat pump in every room. The last comment about groceries is just ridiculous - any VRBO in the world would not supply groceries. It was very easy in the neighborhood to walk or drive to a local store for necessities. There are parks for little kids or pets nearby and plenty of wonderful cafes.The owner was easy to communicate with and helpful. Highly recommend. ##### Rosemary D. Really disappointed that there was no milk in the fridge when we got there, there was no pepper and no handee towels. No condiments whatsoever. We are a kiwi family who live in the states and we visit family regularly- time is always against us as we are catching up with so many family. I found it odd there wasn’t even pepper let alone peanut butter in the cupboard. Happy to take 1400 off us for a couple of nights but not provide paper towels? Or milk?
