This low rise medium price hotel is on a fairly busy but small locals road just seconds from the beach. See comment about key. Staff curt but did respond to questions. There is a handy secure left luggage cupboard. Don't be fooled by room description, my superior room was indeed big with a huge bed but the title "view of garden" meant a few shrubs, car bays and the main road. The non inclusive breakfast was expensive so I went local instead. Glad to say very quiet at night.
We just had a week in Barbados. We could not stay where we usually did and stayed here. Well we will sure be returning. I really can't fault much. Great clean room. Lovely feel to hotel. Fluffy towels and great singers by pool. Food was fine. Lovely beach. Already booking to go back !
The staff were fabulous and so tremendously pleasant. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great. Upon arrival, they had us sit in a lounge area inside but next to the pool. They gave us a refreshing drink while we checked it. It was a nice start to a great week.
The pools are a bit small, but the hotel wasn't crowded at all so it wasn't a big deal. The lounge chairs were really comfy (especially the over-sized chairs at the pool), and we had no problems getting a chair. During the day, the staff offered cold ice pops and also spritzed us when we were at the pool or beach - a nice touch.
The food at the hotel is good. Our breakfast was included, which was nice. They served made-to-order eggs as well as other traditional bajan breakfast foods, fresh fruit, fresh breads, cereal, etc. We had lunch on the beach twice, which was fun. They have two two-for-one happy hours. The manager's cocktail party on Wednesday was a great way to meet other guests, and the free drinks and hors d'oeurves were yummy.
We had an ocean-front room with a balcony, and I highly recommend it. Having a appetizers and/or a cocktail on the balcony while watching the sun set was a great experience. Our room included a full kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, and a bedroom - a good amount of space. We didn't eat in our room much, but it was great to have the option.
My stay was during the slow season, but this is a very quiet hotel, not a party place, which was just fine with me. Because it was slow season the restaurant was only open for lunch and dinner, food was high quality and not inexpensive. This hotel is directly on the beach and all rooms face the beach, so opening the sliding window you get a terrific sound of the waves. Relatively small pool, good for a dip to cool off. Beach stretches down a ways, nice walk. Most places to eat and drink are a worthy of a cab ride that runs under $US10.
Beds were too firm for my liking. Room was large as was bathroom and shower and patio. Internet was a up and down. I recommend the place, but will likely try a few other hotels on my next visit just to see what they offer.
my experience was beyond expectations it was a great stay, we were only to stay for 3 nights but i had to book an extra night to the comfort & likeness of my family... the ambiance & atmosphere is unique.
nice beach , pool . hotel room , staff its was all welcoming to us
This 3 and a half acre property is ideally located on a pristine sandy beach on the lively South Coast of Barbados. All …More
I stayed at Infinity on the Beach while I was in Barbados for a week doing a visa renewal. Unfortunately I was working remotely while I was there, so I was unable to take full advantage of the opportunity, but I still had a wonderful experience.
Infinity is towards one end of the St. Lawrence Gap, a strip of hotels, bars and restaurants on the South side of the island. It's location about halfway between the airport proper and Bridgetown mean you get most of the convenience for tours and activities, without all of the traffic and headaches of being in the center city.
The staff are wonderful and were very helpful with a number of requests, both off the wall (an external monitor, that work thing) and the mundane (taxis, a rental car request). The beach in front of the hotel is very picturesque and a great place to relax and swim. Both the bar and the restaurant offer great service and excellent food. The facilities are in great repair and everything was clean.
Christ Church’s tourist areas, like Dover Beach in St. Lawrence Gap, tend to skirt the coast. “The Gap” is the island’s main nightlife hub with its bars and restaurants. Nearby, Needham's Point combines calm waters and military history. The 17th-century St. Ann’s Fort houses the island’s military. The rugged east coast is an easy drive from Christ Church. Bathsheba Beach is popular with surfers.
