This resort is lovely. Best breakfast! We stayed in the garden pool villa. It was pretty private but some gaps in the fence and hedges meant there was no topless sun bathing :-) very quiet in November, and it is about 300-400thb to chaweng main strip and 350thb to Fishermans village. So perfect to get away from it all. Wifi is good but not on the beach. Beach sand is a bit shelly and a bit rocky once in the water but they give you beach shoes. restaurant is nice and lots of options. Pools are great, had them to ourselves most of the time.

Overall our family's hotel stay was great, mainly due the convenient location - right on the beach, perfect weather and the terrific hotel staff. Staff were actually exceptional!!. The restaurant meals were also a treat as we opted for the traditional Thai dishes, which they do so well :) Although the hotel itself is in need of some serious money spent on repairs (leaking roof, intermittent hot water service and an old air conditioner in need of a filter clean), the room was large, comfortable, very clean and more than adequate for a 2 week stay. When we needed to change rooms due a leaking roof, resulting from a torrential down pour of rain and too much leaf litter in the gully; nothing was too much effort for the manager & staff. We were given a choice of rooms, our bags relocated by staff and a follow up call to see everything went well and were happy with the new room. Can't ask for more than this!! We will return - great value for money!!
The check in was quick, we were able to book our first tour immediately for the next day. In the same evening we took the shuttle to Chaweng that gets crowded evenings. We decided to try the night market for dinner. It was great food and clean though you might have a different impression at first sight. If you are not seeking specific shopping staying at the hotel is just as much fun.

The room was double the size of other rooms we have had in Thailand for the same price. All facilities were available as advertised. The room was quiet and in a convenient location. We were very happy with our stay.
It was a great pleasure to be in Sala Samui Resort. I was sure about Ko Samui but the resort was a questionmark. However it was more than our expectations. Today i returned back and started to tell everyone how it was a dreaming paradise. Thanks to everyone.
It is a very modern and comfortable apartment with good tv cable and free wifi. Pools and gym are nice and manager Kurt is a great guy. However you need to keep into account the distance from restaurants and the beach (min 3 km). I rented a scooter which was a very smart decision
We had 5 nights at Baywater and loved it. Hotel has only been open 7 months. We had our own lap pool which was fantastic as it rained for almost all of our stay but we still swam and lounged on the huge covered patio outside our bedroom.
Our stay at Paradiseislandestate was excelent.
Our Villa Manageress Ong was outstanding, Choeng Mon Beach is stunning and breakfast cooked by Our Private Chef was a real treat. Our prívate garden and pool was a real treat. We were so glad with the experience that we will book another stay with you very soon. 5 stars all the way, Thank you so much for such a delightful experience.
In the northeast corner of Ko Samui, one-kilometre Choeng Mon Beach features some of the calmest, cleanest water and is a popular spot for early risers to catch the sunrise from the beach’s rock formations. It is a short drive south from here to Chaweng Beach if you wish to take in the island’s best nightlife.
