"Great experience, me & my wife are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, we had been out all day ,upon arriving back at our room ,the staff had laid out 2x kissing swans ,loads of rose petals & even a couple of cakes on a long plate with happy anniversary writing in chocolate,,great place ,would definitely recommend"

"I love staying at Lucknham and it always feels like visiting a (very well to do) friend's house. It's relaxed but luxurious. The food was great both nights and the service was warm and efficient. We were primarily there for 2 nights to relax and use the spa (annual mother / daughter trip). We'd known the renovation was scheduled and had planned around the advertised dates, so it was really disappointing to see the hydrotherapy pool still boarded up and then builders there the entirety of each day making a lot of noise and smoking into the pool area every time they took a break. It would have been so much better to have pre warned guests this would be the case so they could make an informed decision on which dates to book..."

Following a Mystery Guide puzzle walk, then comedy magic at Smoke & Mirrors, then great food at the Himalayan, then 3 hours busy at SS Great Britain dockyard Hotel Bristil was perfect location for our stay. Would happily use again"

We had a drink and met friends in the bar before hand, there was a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in there and the staff were helpful and friendly. We had a lovely breakfast and there was plenty of choice. We didn't use the spa but it looked busy and inviting."
