The hotel lobby is ok, it's been updated but in a superficial way. The breakfast area is small and cluttered. The hallways are dark and somewhat dingy though the carpet is newer. Our room smelled strongly of mold. I was not happy about it but since it was one night, I dealt with it. I woke up congested and my eyes were scratchy. The bed was very comfortable and the room was otherwise nice. I let the front desk know that the room smelled really moldy and he said the maids would air it out. I suggested having maintenance check out the AC unit as it may be leaking to cause the moisture and mold. Anyway, I would not recommend and I will not be staying there again.

The staff are super nice. The pool and hot tub area (open late..10- midnight for adults) was clean and relaxing..perfect after running around the shops all day. The breakfast was decent with good selection of stuff. Would definitely stay again..great value for dollar hotel!

I really did enjoy the neighboring Birch Door Cafe. The food there, was as I was told, is quite good. Although the cards and locks on multiple doors weren't operating properly throughout the weekend, it was an overall pleasant stay.

The staff were all great and friendly. The hotel was very clean. We were thrilled with the breakfast. The variety of food was great and it is available for much longer than most hotels.

Very clean and newer hotel with a great breakfast buffet. Had to stay near Peace Hospital and this place was just 5 min away. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.

Nothing unique here, except getting blamed for a key that doesn't work on a door that doesn't work. Like the first thing it is the receptionists mouth shouldn't be, you are the problem.

This is a nasty Holiday Inn Express. The entire building looks and smells dirty: the lobby, the elevators, the pools, the breakfast area, and the rooms. In addition to being dirty, the facility is dated, tired, and worn. The front desk employees were indifferent, rude, and put in little effort to please guests. While eating my breakfast, I watched many customers walk away disappointed. The location was noisy. Due to the paper thin walls, you could hear your neighbors and all of the nearby traffic. The breakfast was fantastic.

Have stayed here a couple of times. This is a very nice hotel. Easy check-in. Hanna at the desk was delightful. Spacious, clean rooms. Wife LOVED the bidet in the bathroom so much she has to get one for home. Excellent breakfast buffet. My only criticism is the pool deck is a bit slippery when wet.

Room and staff were great and as expected. Halls were terribly noisy with children running and screaming through them late into the evening, last 10pm. Pool was full of kids whose parents were drinking in the hot tub instead of supervising them and was extremely loud. I left after five minutes.
