Quirky old business hotel with a great staff. Not in the old town of Cuenca, however the walk up the hill is doable. Nice breakfast, towels and a quiet room. Time warp in a good way.

Great visit on my motorcycle tour
Nice spacious room. Excellent secure garage parking for motorcycle. Nice breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Cuenca is a beautiful town. The hanging houses, San Pablo bridge, etc etc A fantastic stay.

The property was in good conditions, even better than pictures. Nice location, but no free parking outside or in the property. It's free Saturdays from 2PM and Sunday outside. If not, you can park 10mim away for free.

Le hotel está muy bien. Una ubicación próxima a la zona turística de Cuenca. Fallo el aire acondicionado y no pudieron dar respuesta hasta que finalmente solicitamos un ventilador. Las habitaciones son amplias, cómodas y la limpieza está perfecta.

Good hotel, slightly dated decor but room was very comfortable as was the bed. Well located and easy to drive to. Some free parking available in the location. Lovely tarrace bar for evening drinks.

Best hotel of our trip.
It was without a doubt the best hotel of the entire two week trip! Excellent and friendly check in, the lad even took the time to explain some Spanish to us! The room was well decorated and comfortable and the bathroom plenty big enough. We dined in the cafe both in the evening and the morning and the food and staff were excellent. The young lady serving even did me a huge cappuccino in a pint glass! Perfect. Parking was under the hotel and half price for a motorbike. Walking into town and to the cathedral was easy, 5 minutes and 20 minutes respectively. There was nothing not to like. Even the price was the cheapest we had all trip so the value for money is fantastic!

Lovely hotel great location. Room was very spacious with a huge comfortable bed. Breakfast was good. It would be perfect if it had a swimming pool but overàll excellent hotel

Very good location and friendly reception. Very bad internet. Parking is nearby. You can leave your car on paid parking. From 20:00-9:00 overnight for free.

A bit off from the old district and it was a concern when walking back to the hotel there are some unsafe routes at night. Hotel though is nice.

Delightful hotel, limited hotel parking spaces €14 per day (I counted 14 but could extend to 18) otherwise it was on-street pay and display every 2 hours. Hotel nicely situated to walk around the old town and up to the hanging houses and cathedral

Hotel room clean & comfortable. Good choice for breakfast. However parking is a bit of a nightmare, if the garage is full have to park on the road and pay for a ticket, so hours are limited.

Always a good place to stay on our way to or from the ferry ports. Hotel is in walking distance of the town. Secure parking is available, though is not free, (however it is half price for a motorbike!) Assorted bites to eat are supplied with the beers, so all very good.

Good for a short stay
This is a nice hotel and I would stay again. However, the rooms were too hot for the weather. The excuse was that the heating went on at a certain date and the air conditioning had to be switched off. I cannot see why this bureaucracy could not be overruled. Otherwise, the bar was very pleasant and friendly. The lady working there, named Barbara, was a delight to chat with and she gave me a book about Argentina, for which I am most grateful. For such kindness, I would strongly recommend the hotel and its staff.

A very nice hotel
It is a great hotel. It is near the city centre and in a mint condition. We were very pleased to stay there and can highly recommend this place to you. You won't be disappointed.

Good value for money hotel in central Cuenca.
Hotel was central to Cuenca & met all our requirements. This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. Reception was very helpful & friendly & made us feel a valued customer. Hotel offered reservered underground carparking at a cost which we took advantage of. Breakfast offer was extensive with both hot & cold food. Hotel central to Cuenca & was easy to locate with many nearby restaurants & tapas bars.

This was a good stop over. Close to shops and a reasonable walk to the old town. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on a Monday night so we ate in the cafeteria.

Nice room in a historic hotel. Cuenca is an excellent location to visit that is off the main tourist path. Several very good restaurants are located in picturesque locations. The hotel is older and has a water hammer issue.

The hotel is old and you can feel it. it is located close to the park and not too far from the old city, so location is good and quite. it has a restaurant and a cafeteria. I am not sure why it got 4 stars but the price was good and stay was ok.

Fair Value for Cost
The town of Cuenca is larger than expected. We chose this hotel because of its location advertisement. While it provides fair value for the cost, we expected this hotel to be closer to the "sights". Though in a good location across the street from a park along the river, it was quite a hike up steep streets to get into the older part of town. We enjoy walking, but would have enjoyed being closer into the heart of the old town. Otherwise, the hotel was great except for the noise of a party on the first night. As the hotel has no air conditioning, we had to leave the windows open and the noise from loud and boisterous smokers outside came right into our 3rd floor room. After we complained, the hotel was willing to move us to another room. At 11pm, we were ready to get in bed and did not want to pack up and move to another room. The staff did get the noisy group to quiet down a bit. The included breakfast was also a bit disappointing and did not compare well with the breakfasts provided by the hotels we stayed at in Madrid and Seville.
