We then advised you to cancel through the website you used to book, due to us not being able to alter reservations made via 3rd party sites. We've stayed here several times and always enjoy it. we just use the hotel, we don't gamble. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that there are a couple things with the bathroom that are not convenient. There really isn't any place to hang bath towels. There isn't a makeup mirror. A nightlight would be nice (there's light with the hair dryer but it isn't enough). Otherwise, the rooms are really nice and comfortable, the food in the Acorn restaurant is great (they've changed the menu, and the coffee is great), and staff is friendly and helpful.

We're almost situated totally awkward had to turn my head Sideways from the bed to see the TV bathroom have no fans so you can't use the fan too vent smell out

Stayed there because it was the closest hotel to the house I was attending Thanksgiving at. I don't have interest in gambling or casino but just chose the closest hotel. Check in was a little longer than I would have hoped for since I had done all the check in online. When I left and realized that I had accidently left behind an item of clothing, I was relieved to discover that my daughter that was also a guest at the hotel, had not yet left for the 2 1/2 hour trip home. She was able to go to the hotel and get the item. The staff was ridiculous and refused to give her the item. Eventually and reluctantly, they did hand it over. Apparently, neither my daughter of any other of my family members who live in the area would be able to pick up the item and the only way I would be able to get it back would be to make a 5 hour trip to Oroville myself within 30 days. I've never left anything anywhere behind in the past and of course it was my fault but this was a pretty unnecessary harassment.

Everything about the property is outstanding. Room's are huge, bathrooms huge, soundproof from hallway, and neighbors great Staff makes you feel welcome. Dinning facilities excellent food great! Sports bar very comfortable. Smoke bar, very good. Overall experience 100. Hurry or take your time to experience a wonderful time ! Blessings, and thank you.

I love Gold Country Casino Resort. The rooms are always nice, clean and comfortable. Today when we arrived we were greeted with smiles which makes you feel happy. We checked in with no issues. When we got to our room I was a bit taken back by the smell of urine as soon as the door was opened. I thought it may have been the room being stuffy but the second we entered the bathroom the smell of urine was super strong. I called front desk and was immediately offered a room change and an apology. We quickly changed rooms and the new room was fine. I love the staff here they’re always so kind.

Great Staff, very friendly and knowledgeable, makes one feel right at home. The restaurants are nice, and if you're lucky to be staying on the 6th floor, the lovely restaurant Safire is right across from the elevators..and steps from your room. Rooms are quiet at night of course which is great, walls seem thin during the day, can hear neighbors. Isolated spot, so this will be your little city for your stay, and it's sure to be a very pleasant one. 5 STARS*****

Amazing room, amazing service! No bell service and no valet, but as soon as we pulled up, security got us a bell cart and directed us to hotel check in.
