The hotel was very nice with good facilities. They have a small leisure centre with pool and jacuzzi etc which was included. The restaurant was very good and the breakfast, although not included in the price of the room, was excellent. We ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening which was also very good and reasonably priced. We would definitely go back there if we visit that area again.

I found it interesting reading the numerous feedbacks on this pub and guest house as most are very good. My experience was a little mixed and I rarely comment but have decided to give others a fair assessment.
Booking was simple via expedia and the usual good service.
I phoned them to say I would be arriving late and it was no problem with them which was good. I followed the postcode as no road was shown on Expedia location info. The postcode took me to Chichester !!! It is about 6 miles away, so dont fall into this trap!! I managed to locate it by putting in the village name.
Parking it says is on a gravel drive, but its not, that has been covered over with seating, so you park in the road. There was parking so no major issue, but I can see how it could be an issue on a busy night.
Nice welcome pleasant people and nice warm open fire which was ideal as it was -5 and cold... a pint of their local beer and then off to bed.
Room was large and comfortable so I was initially very happy. Tea and coffee and free water, nice touches.
Room very cold and rad didnt seem very warm? Didnt see how to turn up so just went to bed...quickly!!
Wifi router in room, so settled into bed to do some final work things for the next days meetings.
Wifi connected straight away but required a password.... out of bed, freezing cold could not find code anywhere??
So went to sleep
Next morning, shower pressure awful!
Breakfast very nice and fresh... overall good experience but small things could be better
Chichester is set about 12 km from the sea, and 65 km from London. Although steeped in Roman and Anglo-Saxon history (an 11th century Gothic cathedral is near the city centre), today the town caters to tourists and offers a robust arts scene. In addition to an annual arts festival, Chichester offers a selection of theatres, galleries, and a symphony orchestra.
