Great hotel at a great location!

Posted 27-Jul-2016
Pros: Super location in the middle of the miracle mile. Great for shopping and fabulous restaurants. Also, a short walk to the Navy Pier area.
Cons: Access to the main check-in area, which is on the 2nd floor. The elevators are rather small and slow when its a busy time.
Location: Smack dab in the middle of the Miracle Mile on Michigan Avenue. A nearby subway station gets you to all parts of the city.
From the cheerful and efficient check-in, to the morning coffee and newspaper, the Warwick Allerton exceeded our expectations.

Old hotel but nearby all the activities

Old building. Parking was terrible. Front desk was on second floor. Rooms are small. Wouldn't pay as much.

Pros: It was centrally located and we'll maintained.
Cons: The room with 2 queen size beds only had 2 drawers in the night stand that we could put clothes in. The restaurant was too expensive.
Location: Two blocks away was the John Hancock building for great views of the city. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Short train/bus rides to all sites
I was traveling on vacation to Chicago and found that the hotel's location made for easy access to many of the sites that I wanted to see. The staff was very helpful with any questions that I had about getting to these sites.

Zentral gelegenes Hotel

Posted 24-Jul-2016
Pros: Die Lage.

Small Room

Posted 18-Jul-2016
Pros: Service
Cons: The rooms had no dressers and the TV was on the wrong wall. Impossible to watch. Rooms are very small.
The rooms were very small. The TV was in a weird location where it was impossible to watch from the bed. We were very happy that we were upgraded to a suite by Olga the most wonderful manager.

Okay for 1 or 2-day stays

Posted 15-Jul-2016
Pros: Staff, character
Cons: Provide additional electrical outlets on the desk. Suggest lamps with electrical outlet on the bedside tables.
Location: Great location. Close to everything
Second stay at the Warwick Allerton. Staff is very efficient, helpful and friendly; and hotel is clean and has been updated. But lacks some comfort features.. No coffeemaker in the room. Very small, narrow shelf at the bathroom mirror - inconvenient, especially for a woman. Electrical outlets are behind the head of the bed and inaccessible. Daily charge for internet (not good).
