Great Location

Posted 23-Mar-2017
Our stay at the Warwick Allerton was very nice. The staff was very helpful, particularly Alex(the concierge). He was very helpful in setting us up with Uber for a ride to the airport. We found our room to be very small, a tight fit but, we managed. Only one morning we had the buffet breakfast. It was $22 american and for 2 people with exchange breakfast cost $74. Our most expensive meal in the four days we were there. Otherwise our stay was good. I would recommend this hotel. Located on Michigan and Huron street corner. Our view was of a brick wall. The hotel is old but well kept.

Nice hotel with a good location on the mile.

Small rooms but excellent use of space, not as sound proof as one would love. Good workout facility.

Incredible break to Chicago

Posted 20-Mar-2017
I'd booked this trip as a surprise 30th for my fiancé and the stay couldn't have been better. The hotel was lovely, perfect location sat on the magnificent mile and the staff were all extremely friendly. The hotel room was a great secure place to come back to after a long day walking around the streets of Chicago! Can't fault it and would definitely go back!

All members of the staff were extremely kind an accommodating. We really enjoyed the convenience of the location on Michigan and the accessibility of everything nearby.

Nice old hotel right on Michigan Ave!

Posted 19-Mar-2017
Location: It's walking distance to tons of restaurants, bars and of course shopping.
We had a very nice but short stay on St. Patricks Day--- the real day 3/17/17...... not the made up day the City of Chicago made up to try to make more money (and failed from what all the Bartenders were saying!). Anywhoo.... it was a very nice hotel based on room size (I have stayed in a lot smaller downtown for more $$). We did upgrade though to the king sized bedroom because it was suppose to be a little bigger. Staff was very helpful. Check-out was easy. Really nothing bad to say.

Great location

Overall, I had a good experience. Great location (right off Michigan Avenue), comfortable bed, room was clean. Elevators were very slow but they are fixing the problem. It is a nostalgic hotel. This is the 3rd time I stayed there.

Hotel fridge

Posted 18-Mar-2017
We have a baby and there were some food which need to be stored in the fridge. The fridge was like a mini cooler. Only can store the drinks the hotel provided. We moved the drinks and put our baby food there. But we got charge for the drinks at the first place. Nice staff member waived our charge.

Good location

Pros: Price and location
Cons: Sound proof and breakafast
I had door room with door to connect another room and was not sound proof. I was able to hear people talking in another room.

Great location

Posted 16-Mar-2017
Pros: The bellmen and valets were very cordial and helpful.
Cons: Our two-bed room should be a one-bed room and it would still have been cozy.
Location: location was perfect for dining and shopping
Check in IS DEFINITELY 4:00 p.m. Arrived 1 1/2 hour early because we left Indianapolis early due to the snow storm and had to wait in the lobby for 2 hours! We were very surprised at how small the room was. Had to walk sideways around ends of beds. A large person would have a problem staying there.
