Close to shopping

Posted 19-Nov-2017
Beds were soft ,need to upgrade to firmer mattress and bring back your store so you want leave the hotel to go around the corner to the store. But you are in the middle of shopping where you can walk to your favorite store, The staff was nice and no room service need to bring it back 😞

beautiful property really enjoyed staying

Posted 17-Nov-2017
Beautiful property the staff is very friendly and everything was comfortable close to everything in walking distance. I would stay again. For the price it is fantastic. This kind of architecture is less and less so when it was remodeled they did a great job. The bed was comfortable and very fine linen and clean room the one I stayed.

Nice hotel

Well it was a nice stay but the only problem I had was there was no vending machines for water or sodas or even a quick snack. All hotels has vending machines???

Nice for price

Posted 16-Nov-2017
Pros: close to shopping and food, price was fair, great size room, staff friendly. Cons: temp controlled rooms, had to have a fan brought to room and window open to get room to 68 deg in Nov., rain shower head is silly in a standard tub/shower configuration, no room service.

Historic hotel in great location.

Historic hotel with great location and great staff. Restaurant and bar served excellent food and could not have been more accommodating as we stayed in one night to watch World Series. Would stay again- great value.

historic building

Posted 29-Oct-2017
Pros: The historical character.
Location: 360 at the John Hancock was awesome and eating at giradino's was fantastic too
Loved the room but no heat until the front desk sent up a heater. The hotel was still on air condition mode. Did not care for the view looking on to a roof top or something.

It was cold

Posted 24-Oct-2017
I was so disappointed. This is a nice hotel but it was cold! I tried to turn the heat on but it got colder. Called guest services but it was giving me a busy tone multiple times. Called the hotel from my own cell and I was told that they cannot turn the heat yet, because the hotel was so old...??? They brought extra blankets. Temperature in the room was 55-65 F all the time. A week before I stayed at Kinzie hotel, also old but there were no restrictions regarding temperature in rooms. Cristi
