Hotel staff was slow and not very apologetic about the time it took to check in. I used valet which I later learned is owned by a separate company but Inhad a pair of sunglasses stolen from my car and told the front desk, they took my name and number and no one ever called back. I have stayed at this hotel several times because the beds are comfortable and they have a nice restaurant for breakfast.

Rooms are dated. Of course, because we booked through a wholesaler, we got one of the worst rooms (overlooking the mechanical equipment).

Nice older hotel, could use a renovation. Excellent location, across Rosebud Steakhouse, which is a plus for me. Quiet room despite being across the elevator.

The hotel is in close proximity to the Magnificent Mile and to the lake area. We were able to walk everywhere. The hotel is clean and the rooms are clean and functional. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is big and clean also.
