History of the hotel was fascinating. Suites were spacious & comfy. Location was perfect. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended our stay. Looking forward to returning.

Good hotel in an excellent location. Very clean rooms, desk staff were OK, housecleaning staff were exceptional. Experienced a leaking sink and the towels were stored below them, so we had to use wet towels which was not a good feeling on a cold Chicago day. Other than that the stay was good.

Was a good walking distance to the mall and DT

Valet came and took our keys and they don’t mention it’s $67 !!!! That is so expensive. We are from 4 hours away and already had the expenses set out. Wish they would tell you that before they get in your car

An excellent choice f!

Pros: An excellent Location with first-class amenities
Cons: Nothing of consequence
Location: First-rate location to use as a base for a trip to Chicago
The Milenium Knickerbocker hotel proved to be an excellent choice for driving to downtown Chicago and staying in the "heart" of the city.

Great historical hotel with lots of amenities

Posted 08-Jan-2018
We chose the Knickerbocker because of it’s a historic building, and it had great rates. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the bathroom was very nice. It had a rain head shower, and one on a handle, with a glass door for extra room. The minibar was an added bonus, one we took advantage of. We loved the live jazz every night in the bar, but felt like the restaurant was overpriced for average food. The front desk staff, bar employees, and bellhops were all friendly and professsional. The only two improvements would be for new pillows, and more in the closet, and a fan in the bathroom. The 4 on the bed were all feather pillows, and quite flat. Even getting an extra one from the closet didn’t help. The bathroom needs a fan for when you shower, and other “things”. It made it hard to ventilate the bathroom without a fan.

Was able to check in early. Beds were small (full not queen size), but were comfortable. Soft towels.

Very nice, particularly for the price

We have stayed at the Millenium Knickerbocker twice now. Both times, we have found that the hotel is well-located near the Magnificent Mile and the lake and therefore within close walking distance to anything that you would need. The lobby area isn’t quite four-star and the hotel has seen a lot of wear and tear and could possibly use a freshening-up, but the rooms are clean, plush and stylish and the price is remarkable for what you get.
