Rude Unprofessional Hotel Employees
We stayed in Kimpton Hotel Allegro for 3 nights. If you like Downtown location, this hotel is a good choice. Unfortunately, tat is the only good thing I have to say about this place. The rooms are small and have very thing walls. You can hear people talking, TV working, dogs barking (dogs are allowed), and everything else that is happening in the adjacent rooms - you are going to be aware of it. If you want a good night sleep after a busy day - forget it! Complimentary coffee being served in the morning, I guess to help with the lack of sleep. Parking is $59.00/day. Internet is extra, and it is not cheap. HOWEVER, the our biggest complain is unprofessionalism of some employees we had to deal with! Security for the hotel is provided by the 3rd party, and it is obvious that security personnel on premises does not care about the image of the hotel. Our encounter with one of the security employees ( his name, we believe was Eugene) ended up in a shouting match! He was rude and disrespectful, and the night shift manager (Raina) only got involved after about 10 min. Before that, she was just watching from the side. We complained at check out to the Manager (Rachael R), and she apologized multiple times for the behavior of the security guard and the Night Shift Manager.
