Would have been a great stay if not for the trains
My co-worker and I stayed there for 1 night and overall loved the friendliness of staff, the facilities, and overall check-in and out experience. Rooms were clean with nice bathrooms, decent TV, and comfy beds. However, I could not get any sleep that night. Rooms we were given were facing west (Wells St) and unfortunately the street on that side has the above ground subway trains going in both directions with a 90 degree turn just down the block. Needless to say the noise was just unbearable. I sincerely hope that the two rooms we were given were the last two available, otherwise the staff should really have filled all other options before the rooms on west side. I did not call and complain thinking it's just 1 night, but the lack of sleep caught up with me the next day and many things didn't go as planned. With all the knocking, hauling, and screeching noises through the night, the train might as well have been going directly through my room. I was on the 5th floor and my co-worker on the 9th, so my experience was a lot worse than his.
