Nice Embassy Suites Close to Children's Museum

Posted 24-May-2017
Pros: Nice rooms. Great breakfast.
Cons: Little pricey.
Location: Easy 10 min walk to lake shore trail and Navy Pier. Nice views.
Pros: Reputable chain, good breakfast, easy parking, and 10 min walk to Navy Pier and Children's Museum and parks so great option for families interested in those attractions Cons: Isn't in close proximity to a rail line. However several bus stops right outside the hotel so unless your little ones are hearty walkers or you have your own car seat to use in a taxi or Uber, be sure to build in some extra travel time for the bus.

Great location in Chicago

Posted 11-May-2017
The hotel was a very nice overall experience. If you have more guests than there are beds I'd recommend getting another room because the pullout couch has no back support.

Great Location

Posted 24-Apr-2017
Pros: The staff was genuinely helpful and friendly.
Cons: Happy Hour complimentary snacks were marginal at best. I realize when you host this event every night it is imperative that you keep costs down.
Location: We did it all...The Bean at Millennium Park, Willis Tower, Navy Pier, The Shedd Aquarium and the Field Museum. We walked to almost everything.
Hotel Staff were friendly and helpful. Our 1st visit as tourists to Chicago. The offer to text us was welcome and we used it several times for recommendations for restaurants with specific food items like deep dish pizza. We were able to walk to almost every attraction on our list.

Location! Location! Location!

Posted 24-Apr-2017
Pros: We liked several things:Tony, hotel ambassador, complementary reception-four drinks & made to order breakfast, & the restaurant attached to the hotel.
Cons: There was confusion with the drink and breakfast tickets. A better explanation is needed.
A girlfriend and I spent a couple days in Chicago. We could walk to all the places of interest....Navy Pier, Magnificent Mile, Water Tower and eating joints too. The places we couldn't walk to, 2nd City and Union Station, were a short and cheap cab ride away.

Needed sleeping space for five, this room was an excellent choice with the separate room with the sleeper sofa and tv.

Chicago vacation with kids

Posted 20-Apr-2017
The suite offered the parents privacy...however our room clock was unplugged and we couldnt figure out how to set it. We had no room service menu and had to call for one. The pool was way too small for the 40+ kids that were in it. Having to park 2 blocks away for a discounted rate was nuts. The evening reception and free breakfast was great though.

We thank you for your feedback and apologize about the inconvenience for the alarm clock and room service menu not provided. Thank you for informing our staff so that the issue could be corrected. We are glad you enjoyed the evening reception, breakfast, and the privacy of the two-room suite.

The hotel staff was friendly. The room air quality wasn't very good. The pool facility wasn't very nice. The food quality was poor. Overall it's in a nice location. I remember this hotel brand is being much nicer unfortunately it seems as the quality control has gone down.
