Nice hotel in the Loop

Posted 19-Feb-2017
Pros: Good overall hotel with friendly staff
Location: In the Loop close to "L" blue and red lines for (Monroe and Jackson stations), Millenium Park, Art Institute of Chicago, shopping on State Street.
Arrived at the hotel after a 13.5 hour trans-pacific flight. Hotel staff were able to quickly check me in an provide me with all of the information I needed. Because it is located in the Loop and it was after 9:30PM, the only eating option was the pub next door, however the menu is pretty diverse and you have the option of charging the meal to your room through an arrangement they have. Room was comfy and had everything I needed.

Friendly & helpful staff. Free drinking water in the hallway. Free Keurig coffee in the room. Good location if you prefer to stay in downtown. However, the room is fairly compact.

The staff was very knowledgeable about the are and the attractions we wanted to see. They also helped us with directions, tips for navigating the city, businesses and attractions to avoid and ways to save on good deals.

Great location in South Central Loop.

Close to Union Station for those traveling by train. Also close to the Blue Line for those going to O'Hare. Within walking distance to shopping (Macy's etc.) and Art Institute and Grant Park. Had no safety concerns near hotel; hotel itself requires a key card to operate elevators.

Great place to stay if you need to be in the Loop

Posted 15-Feb-2017
Pros: Great location, no unnecessary 'frills', superb front desk staff.
Self check-in was easy, even though I had never done that before - anywhere. Room was comfortable (how much more than a bed, desk and toilet/shower facilities does one really need, anyhow?) LIke many hotels these days, the 'use your room keycard to access the upper floors' feature was comforting. I also liked that a really nice English-style pub is right next door - and on a cold February evening, it was great that I didn't even have to go outside.

Nice Location, nice staff but not clean.

Posted 14-Feb-2017
Pros: location
Cons: Please make sure to change pillow cover and bed sheet.
Location is great, staff is nice. However, they did not change bed sheet and pillow cover. Clearly we could see the make up stain and we also saw dirty stain on the bed sheet. We got into the hotel pretty late, and we did not call to change. We will not come back. It was not a good experience.

hotel in theater district

Posted 14-Feb-2017
Pros: proximity to everything we wanted to do in Chicago.
Cons: Can't fix difficulty of check-in and check out if self-parking since no off road temp parking circle.
Location: theater district. Close walking to lots of stuff. At the northern end of the museum row.
Efficient check in and check out. Typical city hotel with issues of parking. No off the road check-in/temp parking space. "park" along the street and either valet or run back out to car and self-park.

Nice hotel close to everything

Posted 12-Feb-2017
Pros: So they offer this water bottle dispenser on every floor. That was really handy!!!
Cons: I really can't think of anything.
I stayed at the Club Quarters Central Loop for a week for business. The hotel is pretty nice. The lobby is small but it has a nice area where you can meet someone downstairs before you go out anywhere in the city. There is an Elephant & Castle pub/restaurant downstairs adjacent to the hotel, so you don't even need to exit the hotel to get in which is really nice since it was 12 degrees when I visited. Oh, and great menu and good prices. The staff was great and super helpful. They helped me with directions to different places. The room was small (standard) but it was prefect for what I needed. Which was a quiet place to sleep, take a shower, and leave to work.

Excellent Staff

Stayed in one of the superior room with kitchenette. Overall good except the kitchen counter and microwave were dusty. You could tell carpet is old and dirty. Staff was very nice and friendly.
