"This is the 2nd time I stayed at this hotel. This time I stayed in the annex. The room is very well appointed, cleverly hewn out in a rock face. I had a little secluded patio to myselfAs before the staff on reception were brilliant. Sofia deserves special mention, so friendly and thoroughly professional and attentive. Likewise Francesco both on arrival and at breakfast next morning. The breakfast is outstanding. Well done to the team at San Giorgio. Ottimo."

"Fantastic location! Pool and breakfast brilliant. Our room was above the kitchen and it was a bit loud as they had a wedding in the evening. Beds not super comfortable. Overall strong recommendation."

"What a brilliant hotel. Inside they have used the natural stone of the hill to create a unique decor to the rooms. Lovely comfy beds. Large shower with rainshower head. The hotel provides a Sicilian type of adapter for plugging in chargers. Marzia -the hotel manager- was the most helpful host, nothing was too much trouble for her. She speaks very good english and very fast italian. She provides a video of directions from the car/bus park to the hotel (better than google maps). All Ragusa Ibla sights within walking distance of hotel and frequent bus sevice to Ragusa / marina / punta secca."

"We rented a car and drove from Siracusa, with stops in surprisingly beautiful Noto and historic Modica before arriving in Ragusa, one of the most beautifully situated cities anywhere! I chose the Itria Palace due to it's location and with our having a car, parking was an issue. Right next to the hotel is a free public parking lot with plenty of spaces. And, there is a ramp to the hotel's lower entrance. We were housed in the hotel's annex located across the street, which is lovely, the rooms are bright, clean and nicely appointed. Our rooms had incredible views of the main hotel and the Ibla valley and old buildings hanging off the walls of the city. The staff were excellent and the breakfast buffet was beautifully presented in the star-vaulted rooms on a lower floor. Delicious array of breakfast items. My only complaint is that we only stayed for one night, the hotel would make and excellent place to stay for several nights to explore the region. That being our problem, not the hotel! Very highly recommended. "

"Wonderful experience at this hotel which is in a renovated palazzo. The front desk staff were wonderful and friendly, especially Marisa who recommended the zucchini pizza at the restaurant around the block. The room was fine, very comfortable bed. The morning breakfast was laid out the grand ballroom and there were many options to choose from in the buffet. We felt very well cared for from start to finish. Our only regret was that we were just staying one night. We wish we could have stayed longer. "
