The window is way too dirty and was a big turn-off. The hotel room had too many mosquitoes and had to buy a repellent for the room; I still got so many bites over the stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was pleasant and the restaurant food was good. The location worked out great easy walking distance to everything. Or super easy to catch a grab. We left from here to a 5 star hotel in Phuket and prefer this one instead. They are doing a great job and would recommend staying here.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The only problem i had was i couldn't access wifi for the better part of one day during my 7 days here. I would definitely stay here again.

Greaf location & value for money
The hotel is on a quiet street. Within 10 min walk to the Tha Phea old city and nearby night markets. We had a grand deluxe room which was big and clean. Breakfast was decent. Great value for money for a 4-star hotel in a good location.

This place is wonderful! The room was well stocked, clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was ok, more convenient than anything. The pool is refreshing and clean, as well as the bar area around it very nicely kept and relaxing. And the spa- do yourself a favor and book a treatment. It was the best. Everything was very walkable and even had the famous Roti lady stationed at the end of the alleyway (our nightly stop!) We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was not a great experience. After the first night, I noticed that I had small bites on my back, and I saw small ants in the bed. I went and told the reception to please change the sheets and spray the area. The next night was worse and I had several more bites on my back and my arms

Additionally, another certificated pet-control company do a monthly pet control for us. Your feedback on this matter is well noted and we shall thrive to improve on our services. Please accept our sincerest apology for it. We found that it is unacceptable by the standard of our hotel. I have shared it with the team and they are extremely embarrassed by their lapses and for not being able to provide you the best cleanliness experience as we are renowned for. Overall it's a good hotel for the price. I can recommend it. Clean, very good location, nice breakfast, friendly staff and good massage services. Negatives: - The wifi connection was bad, it did not work from our room on fifth floor. - The air conditioner is noisy even in the low speed. - The shower heat wasn't easy to adjust with the handle, either too cold or too hot.

What a wonderful experience we had at De Chai Colonial Hotel. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The breakfast was quite good. They helped arrange an elephant sanctuary tour that was unforgettable. Rooms were comfortable and clean, well appointed. Would definitely recommend staying there!

I've stayed in many hotels (in over 60 plus countries) and de chai colonial is defintely in my top 3. The staff are super helpful and always happy to accommodate my requests. The rooms are clean, the location is convenient and I cannot say enough about the staff- they're lovely and happy to call anywhere for me. I highly recommend this place.

The in-house spa was definitely one of the highlights of my stay! The staff were very professional and really helped relax my tense muscles without making it painful. The food at the breakfast buffet was also pretty decent. I don't think I've had any bad food during my stay.

Great location. Walking distant to night market, restaurants, banks, and the Old City. Very friendly and helpful front desk. We had an early tour and they prepared breakfasts to go for us. Spa was good also. Spacious and clean room. Highly recommended.
