Completely deserving of it's 4-star rating, it offers luxury and exceptional service. A blessed relief for the weary traveller looking to be spoiled. The wicker pods by the pool are a wonderful addition, which other hotels have sadly not copied. Shade but with gaps to let the breeze through. Love them!

Incredible deal for a very well maintained property close to it all in Chiang Mai. Nice Thai design features inside and friendly and attentive staff. Can beat the price.

J'aime cet hotel particulièrement la Deluxe où nous pouvons voir la piscine et la vue sur la montagne. Le déjeûner est varié, préparé pour tous les goûts et nationalités. Le lobby immense et musicien thaï le soir, très agréable. Silencieux la nuit et le service impeccable. La femme de chambre est discrète et efficace dans le maintien de la chambre. Bravo à l'équipe. Je reviendrai comme d'habitude.

This property has seen better days. While the public areas are grand and well-maintained for the most part, the rooms are in serious need of a refresh. Torn curtains that don't close, antiquated bathroom fixtures, closet doors that don't open and close properly--there are a lot of annoyances like these. You can't beat the price and the location--near the famous Night Market. But I booked through an Orbitz partner, thinking I was getting a better room than I got, for essentially double the price I should have paid. Orbitz was unwilling to do anything about it, but the hotel eventually upgraded my room. It was still nothing like the room I was promised in the pictures and description I saw when I booked the room.

Location ok . Near to night market n foods courts , just 5 mins walks. But wifi seem not working at all , thru out my 5D/4N stay. Those depend on wifi for some reasons in hotel or room , advised to buy yr own data plans . Totally no workable.

Old but Gold
According to previous reviews, this hotel is old and run down. I think its absolutely magnificent. Apart from the room itself that's truly a bit shabby and furniture seems old too but it serves its purpose, it's also quiet and peaceful. However the pool area is fantastic, the lobby area and path to the pool is breathtaking (you'll feel like you're walking through a palace) and the breakfast! I can't compliment the breakfast enough. Spoilt for choices and everything's sooo delicious. You'll be a 5 min walk from the night bazaar and will bump into several massage parlors, restaurants and tour agents on your way. I love how central yet secluded it is. Hopefully I can stay here again in the future. Price was a bargain. Lobby service is polite but mediocre. You'll have to connect to different wifis in different areas of the perimeter but it worked fine for me. The rooms are pretty quiet.

Location good. Swimming pool great Breakfast buffet good Place needs to be cleaned up. Carpets in mani. Lobby had never been vacuumed the time we were there. Carpets in elevator were not vacuumed when there. Both of these high traffic areas were laden with dirt. In the sports area you have two men handing out towels.. both playing games on their phones.. the whole area needs to be swept and cleaned,especially around the pool deck. Plants are firing out there as well. Front desk: not enough staff in am and there are lineups. Pretty well the whole staff are not very friendly and really couldn’t care a less about you being there. The atmosphere is poor..not a friendly face to be found. The place needs an active manager on the floor seeing that these details are taken care of.. the place is tired looking and needs some freshening up.

Hotel was large but nothing happening. Room was old and in poor maintenance. Had to get plumber in to unblock bath drain twice. Fittings broken. Pool and general areas were good and breakfast was good. Just looks like the hotel is old and past its hey days.

okay, so its an old property...okay value for money...have stayed there 25 times...but... they really need to: 1. fix the plumbing in showers...they barely dribble water...in most rooms, from my sample size of 35. bath wash basin plumbing often poor as well...(none of this takes a big capital investment, just effort). 2. as front desk staff turns over often, remind the new recruits that Thai people are friendly. this is why most of us come there...charm of country and people.

This could quite easily be a real 5 star hotel. Three problems, all correctable: 1. to control traffic into hotel, they erected manned barricades out on the street. Most people think hotel is closed, or worse --- that it's located in Kabul, setting a buffer zone between lobby and neighborhood mujahadeen. 2. Internet is not good. I was awakened by two guests watching Netflix outside my door, because that was only place they got a signal. 3. Staff is not trained as the staff of an international 5 star hotel. No English. Little eye contact. Otherwise, hotel plant is good. Rooms are well equipped. Pool and spa nice. I don't know what food is like.

The location is excellent. Close to the night market. Across the street there is a good Chinese restaurant, a laundry service and a 7/11 convenient store. The property is relatively old but clean.
