Demeaning staff and property, seriously lacks respect for its customers!
I had just gotten dropped off with my family at the hotel and was about to check in when we started getting profiled and interrogated by the staff. I told the staff only 3 of the party of 5 were checking in. The other party of 2 were going to wait for us at the lobby. Once they separated us the check in party and the waiting party, they interrogated the waiting party asking for passport information credit card information and where they were heading, checking and looking over the information on baggage. They had the staff surveillance on us. I had explained the other party was waiting for us to check in. I EVEN SHOWED THEM THE OTHER PARTIES CONFIRMATION CODE FOR THE OTHER HOTEL. After I had the waiting party call and tell us what was happening I decided it was best to leave this so called hotel. Not Even USA TSA does this kind of stuff. I asked to speak to the manager to get a refund. The guest relations manager, thanyarak Takhiao and general manager, Vincent, came out and only offered a sorry and a measly upgrade. THEY WOULDNT GIVE ME MY REFUND AND INSISTED I STAY AT THEIR PLACE. I decided to let my credit card company handle this since they wanted to be difficult in refunding and booked another hotel, which ended up being a way better choice in the downtown area. Have no problem in dishing out other thousands of dollars in a hotel that actually value customer service.
