"This home was outstanding! David was the most responsive host, always responding to any questions within minutes. The house was very well appointed with everything we needed to make our vacation comfortable. It is only minutes from Dahlonega but situated on a road that lets you feel like you are in the middle of a forest. Sitting on the porch in the mornings is absolutely beautiful. My husband and I didn't utilize the downstairs much, but this area was very impressive. There is a game room for larger groups with a large screen TV, pool table, board games, kitchen, etc. We would love to return to this home on our next trip!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Inn and BlackBerry Hill! The room was beautiful and comfortable. We drove 15 minutes to downtown Dahlonega and had a lovely evening out. And then breakfast was over-the-top delicious! And we still had plenty of opportunity to just sit outside on the peaceful grounds and soak in the scenery."

"Wonderful stay at this cabin! Great communication with the host, and the pickleball court was a real highlight. Loved the thoughtful touches too — noise machines in every room, a coffee/tea bar, and a little basket up front with water and an assortment of salty snacks. The fire pit and swing added to the fun, and the cabin was clean and well appointed. Would happily stay again!"

"Road to the cabin is steep and rough in places. The cabin was beautiful and secluded. The interior was clean and had lots of amenities. The outside had a lot of spider webs that needed to be cleaned up. We enjoyed our stay and would come back."

"Beautiful home in a great location for being on the water. My family swam and fished every day, and it was super quiet. Outside could’ve been better kept. There were briers and grown up grass. The reviews about the driveway are accurate, which is the only reason I would look elsewhere when staying in Dahlonega again. I was on a work trip but brought my family. Although it’s only a few miles from town, I didn’t feel comfortable driving up and down the road so I relied on my husband to transport me to and from a convention and to work dinners in his truck. I was also afraid to have a coworker try and drive me there or use an Uber because the road is so rough. We thought maybe the reviews were exaggerated since we live in rural Alabama and are used to backroads, but it’s accurate! If you want to go someplace secluded and never go to town, this is the place to be! If not, it’s a rocky and rough commute.The host was kind and helpful when we got locked out once, so that was a plus. The keypad battery died and he worked with my husband to get them in. Communication was great and we had more than plenty of room.Really, the only negative is it’s not easily accessible."
