We didn't use public transport but there was plenty of buses and the train station was 5 mins away. Very pleasant five minute walk to town and beach with lots to see on route. "

"Excellent position - opposite the beach and within walking distance of many bars and restaurants. Our room was at the back of the hotel. There were some noisy residents but given the seagulls it wasn’t an issue. We opted for no breakfast so can’t comment on that. The hotel itself was clean and staff friendly. Would stay again. "
"Great place to stay, Caravan was well equiped and clean and tidy. Great little caravan site and wasnt to busy and quiet which is a gem to find in the summer holidays! All staff were welcoming and polite in site. Passes were included so was able to use entertainment and swimming pool. Beautiful sea views of Portland from the caravan. "Beautiful house with stunning views of Weymouth bay and Portland. The location was great it was nice and quiet but easy to get into Weymouth either by 30 minute walk on the Rodwell trail or by very frequent buses stopping a couple of minutes walk from the house. We didn't use our car at all whilst we were there. For eating out there is Billy Winters which is 5 minute walk and worth a visit and lots of lovely pubs and restaurants in Weymouth and Portland. There are also quite a few takeaways in the local area. The house was comfortable and well equipped, comfy sofa in the living room, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the views. I wouldn't hesitate in booking this property again it was hands down the best place we have stayed."
