Our stay at Brookland b&b in Chester was very enjoyable. The service was great, the food was fabulous and the hosts were so kind, welcoming, helpful and friendly. We would recommend others to stay there.

Thank you we are pleased we have met your exoectations and you enjoyed your stay in our small family owned and ran B&B which as you experienced offers a peaceful relaxing stay but with a friendly homely feel.
A lovely B & B; clean and comfortable, run by the charming and very helpful Mark & Remina. Ideally placed for a stroll into Chester (15/20 mins) or catch the bus almost outside the property.

Thank you it was a pleasure reading your feedback. Thank you for staying with us.
Stayed for 3 nights to do xmas shopping and visit zoo.
Couldn't have picked a better place to stop. Walking distance from local village centre where there was plenty of places to eat and also easy walking distance from city centre shops. Bus stop to zoo just round corner so we didn't have to use car at all. B & B was spotless warm and very comfortable. David and Remina were very helpful with organising our day trips and had plenty of knowledge regarding places to visit and eat. We would highly recommend staying here and would definately stay again ourselves if in the area.
Two of us stayed here for 4 nights. Very happy with standard of room and breakfast and helpfulness of owners, who provided lots of information and tips for sightseeing. Were able to walk to railway station in less than 15 mins and city centre in less than 30. Also used the bus service with stop outside property. Local village, 5 mins walk away, has good choice of eateries; also laundry and chemist.

How lovely for you to leave such positive comments. We are thrilled you enjhoyed your stay with us in Chester.
Owners made us feel very welcome and were friendly. However, room was small and dated and a number of areas were somewhat dusty! No heating in bathroom either. Noise could be heard late at night from the television in the bedroom of the house next door - probably high up on the wall like ours was!

thanks for your feedback. In the bathroom their is a heater located above the door as you go in. Seems odd you never asked us for some help with that. With regards a dated room if you dont like old houses then of course Victorian fireplaces and sash windows may not be your thing as well as the solid oak furniture. The TV is placed in a good spot but again not your thing. Not to worry. We spend lots of time cleaning so again cannot see what you found as dusty as you put it as all picture rails, topso of doors and pictures get cleaned regularly as well as behind the beds. Thanks all the same. We retire at the end of this year but we have enjoyed many of our guests.
Run by a very friendly couple, no question was too trivial for them to take the time to answer. The local area of Hoole is pleasant for night life and food, and Chester is just a short way away. (tip for anyone going into Chester, if there are two or more of you get a cab it's cheaper than two bus fares)
Very impressed with this accommodation. Exceptional room, great location near town (frequent bus service if needed, however we enjoyed the walk), friendly and helpful hosts with a delicious breakfast. Would stay here again!
We had a nice two day stay at the B&B. Our host, Mark, was helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were good with nice selections to choose from. Not to far about a mile from Chester City Center so we could walk there. It was an overall very pleasant stay. We'd stay there again if the opportunity comes up.

Thank you so much for your feedback. It was a real pleasure meeting you and have you stay in our small family home B&B. We do hope to see you again some time.
Very nice place, a bit of a walk or a short cab ride to the RR station. Host was very hospitable, ensure we had taxi, etc., rooms were not large but good enough, shower only. Several emails to make sure our arrival was efficient. Good breakfast, parking (but check), said to be a good area for cafes, but we weren't able to try it.

thank you for your feedback. Glad you enjoyed staying with us and enjoyed not just our wonderfu city just 15 minutes walk away but also our award winning best in the country "village to live" with all its shops, restaurants, bars and friendly locals.
We had a warm welcome from our hosts who provided all the information that we required. The hotel is situated in a side street and therefore with our room at the rear we had a peaceful stay. We went to the Zoo which was the main point of our stay. This is about 10 minutes drive away, we also visited Cheshire Oaks Designer outlet, again a fairly short drive. The room was spotless with everything we needed and there was a good range of choice at breakfast time. Plenty of eating places nearby for an evening meal, all within walking distance.
We would happily stay again!!!

thank you for your comments. So pleased we met your expectations.
I liked my room very much.It was a good size with a lovely old fireplace and a view on to a pretty garden and it had everything I needed. Breakfast was perfectly cooked and served. Altogether a great experience.
Really enjoyed our 1st visit to chester, b&b was excellent in every way, lovley helpful people. great location walking distance to local and city centre shops, 10 mins car drive to zoo.would definitely recommend and stay again if visiting chester, lots to see and do in city itself and of course the zoo. Great pubs and restaurants all in walking distance.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Plenty of heating in the winter. Very comfortable bed. Immaculately clean. Delicious complimentary breakfast including homemade jams. Extra special touch of cookies to have with tea and coffee in your room. Would stay again if we are in the area.
Mark was the consummate host. He helped us with our luggage, train schedules, and restaurant reservations. Breakfast was yummy and our room was very nice (not huge); clean and quiet with nice amenities. The location was also very convenient to several restaurants, the train station and the center of town. Parking was a bit tight, but once we parked we didn't need the car until we left. Would stay here again.
This B&B is located in a quiet street, Newton Lane, a short walk from the center of a small village. Here you can get all that a traveler needs, in particular, food and a laundromat. How welcome was the laundromat after several weeks of travel.
The hotel itself is just right for a laid back stay, breakfast is served on time and the choice is good for simple fare. Bed is comfortable and bathroom clear and tidy. My window looked over the back garden which is a real English delight.
I am very happy with my stay.
