"A lovely three day break"
Room very nice overlooking nice outdoor area with lovely water feature. Nelson's bar very nice very comfortable seating area staff good. Main restaurant menu and food good. Only disappointment was the breakfast scrambled eggs not good. That's the only negative in a lovely break away with friends.

"Amazing Stay"
Booked this hotel last minute and from the moment we pulled up outside the doors to the minute we left we were made to feel special by the hotel staff. Absolutely fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble. The continental breakfast which was included in the price was enjoyed in wonderfully decadent surroundings. I would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly and would like to thank all the staff for a wonderful time. The location of the hotel was right in the centre. Could not have asked for anything else.

"lovely setting ,lovely building and grounds"
the room was nice (room 212) however the water did not stay in the wash basin. The building regulations require the temperature of the bath water not to exceed 48deg c however the temperature appeared to be set at 36.5. The staff were all very friendly. The swimming pool and spa was lovely however some of the jets in the spa did not seem to be working, this was not a problem. Yes we would recommend this hotel to anyone.

"Great Hotel and Great Staff"
Mottram Hall is a large country style house and we broke a journey driving down from Scotland to Devon and it fitted our needs very well. The bedrooms are not huge, but comfortable , and was very clean and well equipped. Staff were very professional, professional and helpful. Breakfast (included in our rate ) was very good and we had room service for dinner, and the £5.00 service charge well worth the comfort of eating in the room. We did check out the Spa and Fitness club and seemed very popular with the local residents and has everything you need to have a good work out. Car Parking is free and plenty of it. Would love to stay again !
