Very handy for the city

Posted 03-Aug-2016
Pros: The hotel is a of very good general standard with friendly and polite staff in a good location and reasonably priced.
Cons: The parking charge as an addition although transparent is a little mean.
Location: Chester is fantastic city to visit and although only passing through we have visited many times in the past.Steeped in history a must visit.
Only stayed for one night. Very pleasant and comfortable hotel. The room was clean, large and very comfortable. The hotel is very well located for the city with everywhere within comfortable walking distance. The restaurant has a fabulous view across the racecourse and woul recommend the breakfast.

Very convenient for Racecourse and the town.

Posted 02-Aug-2016
Pros: Excellent location. Modern hotel
Cons: Lift had a security system where you could only get off at your own floor or communal areas. we were a family group spread out over three floors .
Location: Excellent location. Overlooking racecourse, short stroll into town with lots of restaurants and shops.
Ideally situated for us as we were going to the races.

Good business oriented hotel, close to city center

Posted 23-Jul-2016
Pros: Proximity to city center
Cons: No family rooms available
A solid 4-star hotel with all expected amenities that you would expect. Spacious room, very comfortable beds and despite being next to a main road quiet inside.

Close to town

Posted 10-Jul-2016
I stayed here for 3 nights it was close to the town centre nice walk if you like walking. The hotel itself was lovely I stayed in the desirable room which was a standard room to me I expected it to be a little bigger. There was a blocked drain in the shower it overflowed to the floor which was very disappointing. The breakfast was standard considering you have to pay for it you would expect more.

Posted 07-Jun-2016
Pros: Location e struttura moderna
Cons: Arredo stanze e ristorante

No Wi-Fi

Posted 31-May-2016 on Hotels
Nice enough hotel in a good location. choose the hotel partly because it had in room Wi-Fi in through out the hotel. once I arrived I pressed the buzzer to gain access to the garage. Rang 5 times before it was answered and even the i couldnt make out what they were saying. I drove in and found all the hotel parking was taken as it was a shared garage. I then had to park go up to reception ask where I could park and was told park in the council part of the car park as it was a bank holiday and they wouldn't be working until Tue. After going back getting the car parked quite a bit away from the stairwell back to reception we eventually made it with our bags to the reception area to then start to actually check in. public's area's were nice enough including the bar. pint of lager was £4 so could have been worse. I went down to use the WiFi as the room wasn't going but no joy in the bar/reception area either. told them but they said they had had some intermittent problems with it recently? That was that. Chester is nice and well worth a visit.
